    Brock Lesnar Paul Heyman 17042015

    Detailed Results

One night after an impressive performance, alongside Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins, in a winning effort against The Miz, Cesaro & Sheamus, Braun Strowman, and Kane in a 5-on-3 Handicap Tables, Ladders, & Chairs Match at WWE TLC, RAW kicks off with WWE Hall of Famer and RAW General Manager Kurt Angle making his way to the ring. Kurt says that, at WWE TLC, he wrote a “new chapter” in his career, saying that he didn’t think that it could get better than being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame but, when he competed in a WWE ring for the first time in eleven years, it was like a “dream come true”. The GM then turns his focus to next month’s Survivor Series, saying that Survivor Series holds a special place in his heart because he debuted at that event eighteen years ago. Kurt continues, saying that this year’s Survivor Series will be RAW versus SmackDown LIVE once again, saying it will be “our best versus their best, our champions versus their champions”.

The GM then announces that, at Survivor Series, RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss will face SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya while Intercontinental Champion The Miz, representing RAW, will face United States Champion Baron Corbin, representing SmackDown LIVE. Kurt continues this trend by announcing that RAW Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins will face SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos at Survivor Series before announcing the big main event of Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, representing RAW, facing WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, representing SmackDown LIVE!

The GM then keeps the big announcements coming as Kurt reveals that there will be two Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Matches this year, a Men’s Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match and a Women’s Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match. Kurt then vows that, as the RAW General Manager, he is going to do everything in his power to prove that RAW is the superior brand come Survivor Series, concluding by saying “it’s true, it’s damn true”. However, before the GM can leave the ring, Intercontinental Champion The Miz comes out to the stage, flanked by Curtis Axel and Cesaro & Sheamus. The Miz says that, when Roman Reigns was unable to compete at WWE TLC, Kurt should have made Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins fight against his team in a 5-on-2 match. The Miz then says that Kurt abused his power at WWE TLC so that he could have one more night in the spotlight, saying that Kurt doesn’t “deserve” to be in a WWE ring as a competitor or as a General Manager and Kurt should “resign immediately”.

The GM responds by saying that he’s going to head back to his office but the Intercontinental Champion says that Kurt isn’t going anywhere before all four men surround the ring. However, Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins come to the aid of Kurt Angle, standing in the ring with the GM, ready for a fight. The Miz comments that the odds are not in their favor yet again before Kurt makes an impromptu match that would see The Miz team with Cesaro & Sheamus to face Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and a special Superstar who competed at WWE TLC and decided to stay an extra night, which brings out SmackDown LIVE’s AJ Styles!

The opening match of the night would see RAW Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins team up with SmackDown LIVE’s AJ Styles to face Intercontinental Champion The Miz and Cesaro & Sheamus, with Curtis Axel in their corner, in a 6-Man Tag match. At the end of a wild match, it was Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins diving out of the ring, taking out Sheamus and Curtis Axel. This would allow AJ Styles to connect with the Phenomenal Forearm to Cesaro with AJ pinning Cesaro to pick up the win for his team. After the match, Kane would come out to the ring to face AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, & Seth Rollins as “The Big Red Machine” would toss AJ out of the ring before The Miz, Curtis Axel, and Cesaro & Sheamus re-enter the ring, leading to a five-on-two beatdown on the RAW Tag Team Champions. Kane then grabs Seth Rollins by the throat, planting Rollins with a chokeslam. Unsure of Kane’s motives or intentions, The Miz, Curtis Axel, and Cesaro & Sheamus would decide to leave the ring while they had the chance, leaving Kane standing tall in the ring.

After laying waste to AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, & Seth Rollins moments earlier, “The Big Red Machine” Kane would remain in the ring. Referring to Braun Strowman, Kane says that he heard the stories of Braun’s destruction, saying that he liked what he heard and he had to see it for himself. Kane then says that, when he saw Strowman, he saw was a “pile of trash” before saying that he put Braun where he “belonged” when he put Strowman in the back of the garbage truck at WWE TLC. Kane continues, saying that, when the garbage truck crushed Strowman in one “mechanical gulp”, he saw the “fear” in Strowman’s eyes and, when Braun looked back at Kane, Braun realized that Kane is and will always be “RAW’s only monster”. Kane says that, now that Braun is gone, he wants “competition or else”.

The man who would answer the challenge would be the man who beat AJ Styles one night earlier at WWE TLC as Finn Balor would go one-on-one with “The Big Red Machine” Kane. During the match, Finn Balor would head to the top rope for the Coup de Grace, but Kane would pull Finn off of the top rope, drilling Balor with the chokeslam. Instead of going for the pin, Kane would pick Finn up and deliver a second chokeslam before picking Balor up again for a third chokeslam before finally pinning Finn for the win.

Following a successful main roster debut at WWE TLC where she defeated Emma, “The Empress of Tomorrow” would make her RAW debut as the undefeated Asuka would go one-on-one with Emma in a rematch from WWE TLC. In the end, Emma would go for a roll-up but Asuka would counter, locking in the Asuka Lock, making Emma tap out to pick up the win.

After successfully defending the RAW Women’s Title against Mickie James at WWE TLC, RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss would appear on RAW. Alexa says that, at WWE TLC, she put Mickie James where she belongs, “in the past”. Alexa then turns her attention to her upcoming match at Survivor Series against SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya, saying that she is going to remind Natalya and everyone else that there is only “one Goddess” in WWE. Alexa then says that she doesn’t get the “respect” she deserves from the fans, asking the crowd, “where’s my chants, where’s my appreciation?”. Alexa continues, saying that they’re all “jealous” of her before saying that she is going to give them a chant before they are going to chant it like the “sheep” that they are. The champion then tries to lead a “you deserve it” chant to no avail before demanding they chant it. Alexa is then interrupted by her WWE TLC opponent, Mickie James, who comes to the ring, kicking Alexa in the mid-section before planting the RAW Women’s Champion with the Mickie-T before telling Alexa that she does “deserve it”.

In a rematch from WWE TLC, Elias would look to avenge his controversial loss the night prior as Elias would go one-on-one with Kurt Angle’s son Jason Jordan. During the match, the fight would spill to the outside where Jason Jordan would repeatedly slam Elias into the barricade but, when Jason goes to retrieve Elias, Elias would grab his guitar and smash it over the shoulder of Jason Jordan, ending the match by disqualification! Jordan is then left holding his shoulder as Elias heads to the back, dragging his broken guitar as referees come out to tend to Jason Jordan, helping Jason to the back.

With his match against WWE Champion Jinder Mahal confirmed for Survivor Series, Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman would appear on RAW to address the challenge made by Jinder Mahal. Heyman says that Jinder Mahal has “barely survived” as WWE Champion while Brock Lesnar has eaten through the “most stacked heavyweight division” in WWE history, saying that fact is “undisputed”. The advocate then says that we live in the “era of trash-talking” before saying that he is the “king of the trash talk”. Heyman continues, saying that he doesn’t usually trash talk Brock Lesnar’s opponents before making an exception for Jinder Mahal, saying that Jinder is not Brock Lesnar’s “equal”. Heyman then says that Jinder is not even a “worthy pretender” to the throne of being WWE Champion, saying that, when they think of WWE Champions, they think of Bruno Sammartino, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Ric Flair, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, John Cena, and Brock Lesnar and they don’t think of Jinder Mahal.

The advocate then says that Jinder is a “consolation prize champion” that was offered to Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan when they realized they got the “shaft” in the Superstar Shake-Up. Heyman continues, saying that the “brand that brags Brock Lesnar is the flagship brand” and that is “undisputed” and, because Jinder disputes that fact, Jinder is going to “Suplex City” come Survivor Series. Heyman then says that the last time that a SmackDown LIVE Superstar stepped into the ring against Brock Lesnar, Brock “violated every single rule, regulation, moral, ethical parameter, and boundary of the PG era” before officially accepting the challenge on behalf of his client, referring to Brock as “the undisputed, number one champion in WWE”.

With the Women’s Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match between RAW and SmackDown LIVE coming up at Survivor Series, Team RAW would need a captain and that would be determined on RAW as Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Alicia Fox would compete in a Triple Threat Match with the first Superstar to score a pinfall or submission becoming the Team RAW Captain at Survivor Series. During the match, the unhinged Alicia Fox would decide to leave the ring a grab the ring bell, ringing the bell before Sasha Banks intervenes. Bayley then hits the Bayley-to-Belly on Alicia but Sasha breaks up the pin, leading to the best friends squaring off. Shortly after this, Alicia Fox would use Bayley’s own finisher against her, taking Bayley out with the Bayley-to-Belly. Sasha then locks Alicia in the Bank Statement, but Alicia is able to fight out before shoving Sasha into Bayley, causing Bayley to fall into the ring. Alicia then pounces on the cover, pinning Bayley to pick up the win and become the captain for Team RAW at Survivor Series!

RAW would then be host to a big 10-Man Tag match as Kalisto, Gran Metalik, Mustafa Ali, Rich Swann, & Cedric Alexander would form Team Lucha Lucha to face new WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore, Drew Gulak, Tony Nese, Noam Dar, & Ariya Daivari, who would comprise The Zo Train. At the end of a wild, high-flying match, it was Kalisto hitting the Salida del Sol on Enzo Amore, pinning the WWE Cruiserweight Champion to pick up the win for Team Lucha Lucha.

Then it was time to find out who will comprise Team RAW in the Men’s Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Tag Match as RAW General Manager Kurt Angle would make his way to the ring to announce the five RAW Superstars who will head into battle for the red brand at Survivor Series. However, just as the GM is about to make his announcement, he is interrupted by the music of SmackDown LIVE Commissioner Shane McMahon! Deciding to fire the first shot by invading RAW, Shane would lead an army of blue through the crowd as Shane would be joined by several SmackDown LIVE Superstars, including The New Day, United States Champion Baron Corbin, Rusev, Becky Lynch, Carmella, SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya, Tamina, Bobby Roode, The Hype Bros, Tye Dillinger, Dolph Ziggler, Shinsuke Nakamura, and AJ Styles! Shane then gets in the ring to confront the shocked Kurt Angle, simply telling Kurt “under siege”. Kurt then leaves the ring but the SmackDown LIVE Commissioner orders his troops to “go get ‘em” and the SmackDown LIVE faithful do just that, marching to the backstage area!

The sea of blue would first encounter an unsuspecting Apollo Crews & Titus O’Neil with The New Day greeting Titus Worldwide before assaulting Apollo & Titus, taking Titus out before Rusev levels Apollo with a Machka Kick! Having claimed their first victims, the blue team would then encounter a technician and Baron Corbin would take the honor of attacking the innocent bystander. Bobby Roode and Tye Dillinger then knock over a TV displaying the RAW logo. The blue invaders then come across members of the RAW Women’s Division, including Emma, Dana Brooke, and RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, but the women of RAW are quick to flee from the pursuing SmackDown LIVE Women’s Division. The blue army then encounter Goldust, Curt Hawkins, Curtis Axel, and Rhyno, quickly overwhelming and beating down the four RAW Superstars before moving on in their path of RAW destruction.

The SmackDown LIVE contingent then storms into the RAW locker room, attacking an unsuspecting Jason Jordan before Matt Hardy and Finn Balor join the fray with the blue team laying waste to all three RAW Superstars before moving on to their next targets. SmackDown LIVE then moves on to the next locker room, attacking Dash Wilder, Elias, and Gallows & Anderson. Team Blue then encounter Sasha Banks, Bayley, Mickie James, and Alicia Fox before a brawl breaks out between the respective Women’s Divisions with the SmackDown LIVE Women’s Division getting the better of the fight.

With Shane McMahon watching on approvingly from the ring, the SmackDown LIVE army would continue to march through the backstage area before the blue team is caught off-guard by RAW Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins, who were waiting around the corner. Even with Dean wielding a steel chair, the numbers would be too great for Ambrose & Rollins as SmackDown LIVE leave Ambrose & Rollins laid out. Baron Corbin and Rusev then emerge with their hands on RAW General Manager Kurt Angle, forcing the GM to look at their handiwork. The SmackDown LIVE Superstars then bring Kurt out to the stage before Shane has his army bring the GM back to the ring so that the SmackDown LIVE Commissioner can tell Kurt to bring his “gold medal” and “what’s left” of his RAW roster to Survivor Series to that Shane and SmackDown LIVE can “finish what we started” before telling Kurt, “it’s true, it’s damn true”! Shane then orders his troops to leave as Shane leads the SmackDown LIVE invaders back through the crowd, leaving Kurt Angle in a state of shock in the ring.
