WWE RAW Results: March 2, 2015

    WWE Raw

    roman-reigns-15092014

    Believe That.

The 1136th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Over the last couple of weeks, Seth Rollins has been trading barbs with the soon-to-be-retired host of The Daily Show, Jon Stewart, with “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” even appearing on The Daily Show to confront Jon Stewart last week, daring Stewart to appear on RAW. Now, in what will surely be an interesting encounter, the legendary comedian and television personality will come to RAW to confront Seth Rollins! What will this appearance on RAW mean for Jon Stewart? Does Jon Stewart have a plan to avoid harm or will Seth Rollins have a Curb Stomp for the comedian?

Also, following a crushing loss to Rusev at Fastlane, a fired up John Cena put the weight of America on his shoulders and challenged the United States Champion to face him in a rematch at WrestleMania. However, Rusev denied John Cena’s rematch, citing that his submission victory over Cena at Fastlane deems Cena unworthy of a rematch. With “The Super Athlete” already looking ahead to who could potentially be his next challenger, will John Cena continue to pursue a rematch with Rusev or will Cena turn his focus elsewhere?

This past Thursday, the news was broken on Facebook that, at WrestleMania, Bad News Barrett will defend the Intercontinental Championship in a Ladder Match involving multiple Superstars. However, the identities and exact number of opponents remains a mystery, but given that Dean Ambrose, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler, & Daniel Bryan are all deserving of a title match, will these four Superstars be a part of the Ladder Match?

    Match Results

    • Non-Title: Dean Ambrose (with R-Truth & Luke Harper) def. Bad News Barrett by pin following Dirty Deeds.
    • 6-Person Mixed Tag Match: The Usos & Naomi def. Cesaro & Tyson Kidd and Natalya by Naomi rolling up Natalya.
    • John Cena def. Curtis Axel by pin following the Attitude Adjustment.
    • Divas Championship: Paige def. Nikki Bella (c) (with Brie Bella) by DQ after Brie Bella interferes. As a result, Nikki Bella (c) retains.
    • Daniel Bryan def. Luke Harper by submission to the Yes Lock.
    • Seth Rollins (with Randy Orton, Kane, Big Show, and J&J Security) def. Roman Reigns by roll-up.

See page 2 for detailed results.
