Wwe The Big Show Wrestlemania 29

    Better Off Banned?

The 1067th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC. Last week on RAW, the fired Big Show crashed Randy Orton’s WWE Championship Celebration, knocking out the new WWE Champion and “face of the WWE”, Randy Orton, before an intense stare-down with WWE COO Triple H. As a result of Big Show’s repeated intrusions, Triple H has ruled that Big Show has officially been banned from the WWE for life! Will a lifetime banishment keep Big Show from extracting his revenge on The Authority or have we truly seen the last of “The World’s Largest Athlete”?

Also on last week’s RAW, the sinister and unpredictable Wyatt Family viciously assaulted two former WWE Champions in CM Punk and Daniel Bryan and, after each attack, Bray Wyatt claimed that the “devil” made him do it. Is this the ramblings of a mad man or is someone truly ‘pulling the strings’ of The Wyatt Family? In any case, how will CM Punk and Daniel Bryan respond to the attacks?

    Match Results

    • CM Punk def. Luke Harper (with Erick Rowan) by roll-up.
    • Ryback def. The Great Khali by pin following the Meat Hook Clothesline.
    • Alberto Del Rio def. Kofi Kingston by submission to the cross armbreaker.
    • Non-Title: Randy Orton def. Big E. Langston by pin following the RKO.
    • Mixed Tag Match: Tyson Kidd & Natalya def. Fandango & Summer Rae by Fandango submitting to Tyson Kidd’s Sharpshooter.
    • 6-Man Tag: John Cena, Goldust, & Cody Rhodes def. Damien Sandow & The Real Americans by Goldust pinning Antonio Cesaro following the Final Cut.
    • Non-Title: Dolph Ziggler def. Curtis Axel by pin following the Zig Zag.
    • The Usos def. Heath Slater & Drew McIntyre by Jey Uso pinning Heath Slater following the Superfly Splash.
    • 6-Diva Tag: The Bella Twins & Eva Marie def. AJ Lee, Tamina Snuka, & Aksana by Eva Marie rolling up Tamina Snuka.
    • 4-on-1 Tornado Handicap Match: Big Show def. Randy Orton & The Shield (with Kane) by DQ after Randy Orton hits Big Show with a steel chair.

    Detailed Results

One week after he was inexplicably attacked by The Wyatt Family, “The Best in the World” would kick off RAW as CM Punk would go one-on-one with The Wyatt Family’s Luke Harper, with Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan in his corner. During the match, CM Punk would spot Erick Rowan getting too close for comfort and would opt to dive to the outside and take Rowan out! This would nearly cost Punk the match as Luke Harper hits a big boot, but Punk would use his speed to prevail, surprising Harper with a roll-up to pick up the win. After the match, Erick Rowan would waste no time in joining Luke Harper as both men look to beat Punk down while their leader, Bray Wyatt saunters towards the ring. However, Daniel Bryan would rush to the ring with a steel chair, taking Erick Rowan and Luke Harper out with the weapon. Wyatt would momentarily get his hands on Bryan, but would quickly abandon his plans when Punk swung a steel chair at his head as Wyatt ducks the shot before ducking out of the ring as Punk delivers a solid steel chair shot to the back of Luke Harper, knocking Harper out of the ring as Punk and Bryan stand tall in the ring!

With Paul Heyman still recovering from a long list of injuries suffered at the hands of CM Punk at Hell in a Cell, Ryback would go it alone against a man who would not be bullied in The Great Khali, with Hornswoggle and Santino Marella in his corner. In the end, it was Ryback taking The Great Khali down with the Meat Hook Clothesline en route to picking up the win. After the match, Ryback would target Santino Marella, tossing Santino into the ringside barricade as Hornswoggle makes himself scarce, taking refuge underneath the ring.

For the first time since he lost the World Heavyweight Title to John Cena at Hell in a Cell, Alberto Del Rio was in action on RAW as “The Mexican Aristocrat” went one-on-one with Kofi Kingston. In the end, it was Del Rio neutralizing the speed of Kofi Kingston by locking in the cross armbreaker, forcing Kofi to tap out to pick up the win.

The WWE Champion and “face of the WWE” was in action on RAW as Randy Orton was set for action against the fans’ choice of either The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, or Big E. Langston. However, before Jerry Lawler could reveal his opponent, the WWE Champion decides to berate the crowd, telling the fans that their wives and girlfriends are all “fantasizing” about him right now and all the men in the crowd know that they will never be “half the man” that he is. Orton continues, saying all he sees when he looks at the crowd are “faces of envy” and the only choice they have tonight is who will be his next “victim”. The WWE Champion then allows Jerry Lawler to reveal who won the poll with Big E. Langston earning the right to face the “face of the WWE”!

In a non-title match voted on by the WWE fans, WWE Champion and “the face of the WWE” Randy Orton would go one-on-one with Big E. Langston. While Big E. Langston would hold his own against the WWE Champion throughout the match, Randy Orton would slither out of the Big Ending, hitting the RKO on Langston en route to picking up the win.

In a Mixed Tag Match, Natalya would enlist the help of her newlywed husband, the returning Tyson Kidd, to face Fandango & Summer Rae. In the end, it was Tyson Kidd locking in the Sharpshooter on Fandango, forcing Fandango to tap out to pick up the win for himself and his new bride.

With Alberto Del Rio and Zeb Colter both guests on commentary, World Heavyweight Champion John Cena would team with WWE Tag Team Champions Goldust & Cody Rhodes to face Damien Sandow & The Real Americans in a 6-Man Tag rematch from SmackDown. During the match, John Cena would use Antonio Cesaro as a weapon to take Zeb Colter out at ringside. At the end of an explosive 6-Man Tag match, it was Goldust hitting the Final Cut on Antonio Cesaro en route to picking up the win for his team.

Despite being banned from the WWE for life by WWE COO Triple H, Big Show was spotted greeting his former colleagues in the backstage area, all smiles and dressed in his finest suit. Meanwhile, SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero confronts WWE COO Triple H, informing the COO that Big Show has arrived in the building. This immediately changes the mood of Triple H, who tries to storm out of his office when he is confronted by his wife and WWE Principal Owner, Stephanie, who informs Triple H that she let Big Show in the building! An angry Triple H demands to know why Big Show was allowed in the arena and Stephanie reveals that it was the WWE Board of Directors who demanded that Big Show be allowed in the arena. Stephanie explains that the Board believes that WWE has too much going on right now and they cannot afford to handle Big Show’s lawsuit against the company right now.

However, Triple H stands his ground, saying that he does not care what the Board says, when he says that Big Show is “banned for life”, he means it. Stephanie says that it is not about them, it is about the WWE and they cannot afford to take any risks, especially when it comes to any “personal business” that might get dragged into it. The COO rolls his eyes at his wife, but Stephanie gets her husband’s attention when she says that Triple H has never had a problem taking “McMahon family money”! Stephanie continues, saying that it is “bigger” than them and the Board is demanding that they “settle”, adding that the Board does not want any attorneys involved, they want it to be between Big Show and The Authority. A seething Triple H comments that he “hates” Big Show before sending Vickie Guerrero out to find Big Show and tell the giant to come to his office.

Returning from injury, the Intercontinental Champion was in action on RAW as Curtis Axel went one-on-one with “The Show-Off” Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match. In the end, it was Dolph Ziggler hitting the Zig Zag on Curtis Axel en route to pinning the Intercontinental Champion for the win.

Backstage, The Authority prepares for Big Show’s arrival to the office, but Vickie Guerrero informs Triple H & Stephanie that Big Show is willing to meet with them, but he wants to do it in the ring in front of the world!

In tag team action, Jimmy & Jey Uso would face 3MB’s Heath Slater & Drew McIntyre, with Jinder Mahal in their corner. In the end, it was Jey Uso hitting the Superfly Splash on Heath Slater en route to picking up the win for The Usos.

In 6-Diva Tag action, Divas Champion AJ Lee would team with Tamina Snuka and Aksana to face The Bella Twins & Eva Marie. In the end, it was Eva Marie surprising Tamina Snuka with a roll-up to pick up the win for herself and The Bella Twins.

Per the orders of the WWE Board of Directors, The Authority would have to bend to the will of Big Show as WWE COO Triple H & WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon would make their way to the ring at the request of the fired giant in order to “settle” things between the two parties once and for all. Triple H & Stephanie regretfully ask for Big Show to come to the ring and the giant makes his way to the ring with a big smile on his face to confront The Authority. Stephanie then hands Big Show a microphone, saying that Big Show wanted to settle things without any attorneys getting involved, so she asks Big Show what he wants. Big Show says that the first thing he wants is a broom so that Stephanie has something to ride back to Greenwich. Triple H demands that they cut to the chase, asking Big Show how many “zeroes” he wants on a check to sell his “dignity”. Big Show says that he does not have any money problems because he doesn’t have money, telling Triple H that he loves doing what he does best and all he wants is his job back. The COO is then prepared to tell Big Show off, but for the good of the negotiations, Stephanie restrains her husband before telling Big Show that, if he wants his job back, he’s got it! Big Show then leads a “yes” chant with the crowd over the news before saying that, to make “the world’s largest lawsuit” go away, he is going to need the “world’s largest bonus”. Big Show continues, saying that he wants something that he has never gotten during his time in the WWE, he wants to be put in the position as the “face of the WWE”. This time, it is Stephanie who needs to be restrained as Triple H calms his wife down from breaking down the negotiations.

The negotiation between Big Show and The Authority is briefly broken up with the arrival of The Shield, who stands at ringside. With the presence of The Shield calming him, Triple H asks Big Show to continue and the giant warns Triple H to “tread lightly”. Big Show then says that what Triple H is going to give him is a WWE Championship match against Randy Orton at Survivor Series, but the COO gets in the face of Big Show, telling the giant that he is lucky to have his job back and Big Show should leave now before he leaves the giant in a puddle of his own blood! Big Show asks if Triple H is sure that he wants to do that and Triple H says that he is “damn sure”. Big Show is glad to saunter out of the ring, saying that, tomorrow morning, he will be on the phone with his attorney, who will call the Board of Directors and he will complete his task of owning them! Realizing what is at stake, Triple H regretfully grants Big Show his demand for a title match at Survivor Series! Big Show then gets back into the ring and into the face of Triple H, telling the COO to tell him one more time, which a livid Triple H does reluctantly. Triple H then says that, since Big Show is back under his employment, then he is within his rights to put Big Show in action here tonight as “The World’s Largest Athlete” would face WWE Champion Randy Orton and all three members of The Shield in a 4-on-1 Handicap Match!

Per the orders of WWE COO Triple H, the newly re-hired Big Show, suit and all, would have to face WWE Champion Randy Orton and all three members of The Shield in an impromptu 4-on-1 Tornado Handicap Match! With Orton and The Shield all permitted to be in the ring at the same time, the WWE Champion and The Shield would beat down Big Show, but the giant would battle back, taking Roman Reigns out with a chokeslam before taking Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins out with a double suplex! With Big Show all alone with the WWE Champion, Kane’s music would blare throughout the arena, but the music would be the only thing that would identify the big man as Kane, not only unmasked, but wearing a business suit, would make his way to ringside! Orton and the two able members of The Shield would demand steel chairs and the corporate Kane would toss chairs to the three of them as Orton, Ambrose, & Rollins would take turns smashing Big Show with steel chair shots. As The Shield drags Big Show to the outside, Kane assists in dismantling the announce table. Roman Reigns then drives the steel steps into the skull of Big Show before all three members of The Shield hoist “The World’s Largest Athlete” up into the air and through the announce table with the three-man powerbomb! Randy Orton & The Shield then stand over the motionless Big Show as Orton holds the WWE Title high in the air.
