Better Than The Original.

The 860th edition of WWE Thursday Night SmackDown came to you from the Moda Center in Portland, OR. Two weeks ago, the WWE Universe would be introduced to the accomplished independent wrestling legend known as “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles as Styles would debut at the Royal Rumble as the #3 entrant in his first ever Royal Rumble Match. Following a stellar performance in the Rumble, AJ Styles would make his RAW debut the next night where he picked up a big win over six-time former World Champion Chris Jericho. Since that night, Chris Jericho has been keeping a close eye on “The Phenomenal One” and making it clear that he was itching for a rematch with AJ Styles and, after a confrontation last week, the rematch would happen on SmackDown as “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles would go one-on-one with “Y2J” Chris Jericho!
