    Detailed Results

The final SmackDown of 2015 and the final SmackDown on Syfy kicks off with WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day, who run down a list of requirements that they will require of the WWE fans in the New Year. The Lucha Dragons then interrupt the champions, challenging The New Day to a match and, after the WWE Tag Team Champions laugh at the masked team, making jokes about the injured shoulder of Sin Cara, Kalisto reveals that they’ve got friends to back them. With that, The Dudley Boyz come out with a table decorated for the New Year! The match is then made official as Kalisto would join forces with The Dudley Boyz, with Sin Cara in their corner, to face all three members of The New Day in a 6-Man Tag match. In the end, it was Kalisto scoring with the Salida del Sol, pinning Kofi Kingston to pick up the win for his team. After the match, The Lucha Dragons and The Dudley Boyz would bring the special New Year’s table into the ring as Bubba Ray picks up Xavier Woods, putting Xavier through the table!

After a run-in between the two a couple of weeks ago, SmackDown would see “The Bizarre One” Goldust square off with “Prince Pretty” Tyler Breeze, with Summer Rae in his corner. In the end, it was Tyler Breeze sending Goldust face first into the turnbuckle, rolling Goldust up and putting his feet on the ropes for the illegal advantage, keeping “The Bizarre One” down for the three-count to pick up the win. After the match, Summer Rae grabs a microphone, saying that the announcement that are about to make is a “shocker”. Summer then hands the microphone to Tyler Breeze, who announces that, for the New Year, they have decided to go their separate ways! “Prince Pretty” then decides to leave the crowd with one last selfie to remember them by.

In tag team action, the 2015 Tag Team of the Year The Usos would face The Wyatt Family’s Luke Harper & Braun Strowman, with Erick Rowan in their corner. In the end, the speed of The Usos would be no match for the power and dominance of The Wyatt Family as Braun Strowman would withstand a super kick from Jey Uso, locking in his triangle hold and rendering Jey unconscious, earning the victory for Harper & Strowman.

In Divas action, Team B.A.D.’s Naomi & Tamina would square off with Brie Bella & Alicia Fox. In the end, it was Brie Bella hitting Naomi with the Bella Buster, pinning Naomi to pick up the win for herself and Alicia Fox.

“The Show Off” was in action on the New Year’s Eve edition of SmackDown as Dolph Ziggler would go one-on-one with Bo Dallas. In the end, it was Dolph Ziggler scoring with the super kick, pinning Bo Dallas for the win.

Then it was time for the last SmackDown main event of 2015 as WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns would team with Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose to face “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus and the self-proclaimed “Prize Fighter” Kevin Owens. During the match, Dean Ambrose would bring Kevin Owens to the outside with revenge on his mind as the Intercontinental Champion would go for a powerbomb through the announce table, but Owens would counter, sending Ambrose back-first into the ring apron. In the end, Roman Reigns would set Sheamus up for the Spear, but Kevin Owens would pull Roman’s legs out from under him, racking the champion on the ring post, resulting in the disqualification.

After the match, Sheamus & Kevin Owens would target Roman Reigns, sending the WWE World Heavyweight Champion into the steel steps before Sheamus tosses Roman over the announce table. Ambrose then dives to the outside, taking down Sheamus, but Owens blasts the Intercontinental Champion with a super kick. Sheamus then picks up Reigns with the intent of making Roman watch his ‘brother’ get powerbombed through the announce table, but Reigns would break free, catching Owens with the Superman Punch! Ambrose then sends Sheamus face-first into the steel ring post and Reigns follows it up with a Spear to “The Celtic Warrior” as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and the Intercontinental Champion are left standing tall to close out 2015 and ring in 2016.
