New Year, New Champion?

The 1179th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW was the final RAW of 2015 and it came to you, live, from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Two weeks ago on RAW, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon would return to RAW to address Roman Reigns’ attack on his son-in-law Triple H at WWE TLC, putting Roman in a must-win match against Sheamus where Reigns would have to defeat “The Celtic Warrior” and win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship or he would be fired. During the match, the Chairman would do everything in his power to ensure that Roman would be on the unemployment line, but Reigns would refuse to be kept down yet again and would contend with The League of Nations and even dropped Mr. McMahon with the Superman Punch moments before becoming the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Now, at the end of a rollercoaster 2015 for Roman Reigns, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion has to be nervous about what could await him on RAW as, for the first time since being attacked by Reigns two weeks ago, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon would make an appearance on RAW! Mr. McMahon would not be the only big return to RAW, however, as for the first time since losing the United States Championship to the returning Alberto Del Rio at WWE Hell in a Cell back in October, “The Face That Runs The Place” would be back in a WWE ring as fifteen-time former World Champion John Cena would return to action, going one-on-one with United States Champion Alberto Del Rio in a non-title match! With a rematch for the United States Championship still owed to him, will Cena set out to prove that Del Rio’s title win was a fluke or will Del Rio vanquish John Cena for a second time? What role will the United States Champion’s new allies, The League of Nations, play in this anticipated rematch?
