“COLT CABANA!! IT’S YERSEL’!!”
If you know what that little outburst is all about, then well done you, you’re a wrestling fan who appreciates the goofier side of wrestling (much like myself). For those of you who don’t know, then you really should watch this video.
Colt Cabana recently made a trip to Scotland for the duration of the Edinburgh Festival, where he hosted a show with comedian Brendon Burns which involved commentating over bad wrestling matches in a small 50 seat theatre at around midnight. By all accounts it was a hit, but surpassing that (for me at least) was Colt’s scheduled performance at ICW’s “Dave’s Not Here, Man” event (available soon on DVD from InsaneWrestling.co.uk) against a young Scottish wrestler called Grado. Grado, being a super fan himself, decided that the best thing to do would be to go meet Colt at the airport and give him a traditional Scottish welcome.
Those of you in the know may have seen Vice Magazine’s documentary “The British Wrestler” which followed Grado in his pursuit of getting booked at ICW and becoming a wrestler, and ever since then Grado has gone from strength to strength. Just watch this video and laugh your a*s off. I defy you not to.
