WWE Spoilers: Intercontinental Title match announced for Extreme Rules

The eighth annual WWE Extreme Rules will come to you, live on the WWE Network, in just under two weeks on May 22 from the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. As announced on RAW, the Intercontinental Championship will be defended in a Fatal 4-Way Match at the event. Here is the updated card:

  • WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Extreme Rules Match: Roman Reigns (c) vs. AJ Styles
  • Intercontinental Championship: Fatal 4-Way: The Miz (c) (with Maryse) vs. Cesaro vs. Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn
  • Women’s Championship: Submission Match: Ric Flair Banned: Charlotte (c) vs. Natalya
  • WWE Tag Team Championship: The New Day (c) vs. The Vaudevillains
  • United States Championship: Kalisto (c) vs.¬†Rusev (with Lana)

In the Fatal 4-Way Match for the Intercontinental Championship, there will be no disqualifications and no count-outs with the first person scoring a pin or submission in the ring walking out as the Intercontinental Champion.
