    100115 Dean Ambrose 4

    Detailed Results

Before he challenges Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Elimination Chamber, SmackDown kicks off with “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose. Ambrose recounts the events of RAW where The Authority did their best to keep him from signing a contract to make the title match at WWE Elimination Chamber official where The Authority concocted a plan to get “The Lunatic Fringe” arrested. Ambrose then says that the cops gave him one phone call and he called the only man he can trust and that was Roman Reigns. Ambrose continues, saying that he had Roman buy him some time and, as he struggled to find a way to get out of jail before RAW concluded, a YouTube video surfaced that showed Seth Rollins shoving the cameraman into Ambrose, which resulted in Ambrose’s ‘assault’ of the cameraman that got Ambrose arrested Monday night. Ambrose then says that he was cleared of all charges and, thanks to making friends with a lot of metropolitan police departments over the years and the NYPD apparently being Dean Ambrose fans, Ambrose was able to return to RAW in a police wagon and, with some help from Roman Reigns, they would thwart The Authority’s plans again as “The Lunatic Fringe” would sign the contract and make the match official. Ambrose continues, saying that there is going to be a “fight” at WWE Elimination Chamber and the “Age of Ambrose” will begin.

Before the first ever WWE Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber Match this Sunday at WWE Elimination Chamber, The Prime Time Players, Los Matadores, The Ascension, and WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day would fill the ringside area as Cesaro & Tyson Kidd, with Natalya in their corner, would face The Lucha Dragons in a Lumberjack Match on SmackDown. At the end of a wild match, it was a distraction from Xavier Woods that would allow Kalisto to hit the Salida del Sol on Tyson Kidd, pinning Kidd for the win.

Two of the six competitors in this Sunday’s Elimination Chamber Match for the vacant Intercontinental Championship were in action on SmackDown as 2015 King of the Ring King Barrett went one-on-one with R-Truth. In the end, it was R-Truth hitting the Lie Detector on King Barrett, pinning Barrett for the win. However, there would be no time for celebration as fellow Elimination Chamber combatant Sheamus would rush to the ring, blasting R-Truth with the Brogue Kick before catching King Barrett with the Brogue Kick as well.

SmackDown would feature a collision of two of the favorites to win the Intercontinental Championship inside the Elimination Chamber this Sunday as “The Big Guy” Ryback would go one-on-one with “The Bulgarian Brute” Rusev. During the intense match, the two big men would take the fight to the outside where Rusev would lift Ryback up, tossing “The Big Guy” onto the arena floor with a Fallaway Slam! During the course of the matchup, Rusev would apparently injure his right ankle, struggling to stay in the match as a result. Despite being in serious pain, “The Bulgarian Brute” would send Ryback face-first into the steel ring post on the outside and, after doing it a second time, the referee would call for the bell, ending the match by disqualification. After the match, the pain was clear on Rusev’s face as Rusev sends Ryback shoulder-first into the steel ring steps before using the ring apron just to stand.

Before they challenge Nikki Bella for the Divas Championship in a Triple Threat Match at WWE Elimination Chamber, SmackDown would see Paige going one-on-one with Naomi, with Tamina in her corner. During the match, Paige would deliver a kick to Tamina, preventing the potential interference, before hitting the Ram Paige, pinning Naomi for the win. After the match, Divas Champion Nikki Bella and her sister Brie would come out to the stage, making sure that her two challengers do not forget who they are up against.

With a Champion vs. Champion match against United States Champion John Cena awaiting him at WWE Elimination Chamber, NXT Champion Kevin Owens would make his SmackDown debut for an exclusive in-ring interview with Michael Cole. Michael Cole starts to say that Kevin Owens has only been on the main roster for two weeks, but Kevin Owens interrupts, saying that he has only been on the main roster for two weeks, but he has been in the wrestling business for fifteen years. The NXT Champion then says that he has dominated competition all over the world, just like he is going to “dominate” John Cena this Sunday. Owens continues, saying that he knows all about John Cena and his impressive resume before saying that Cena knows a “thousand different ways to suck”. Owens says that he is the NXT Champion and John Cena seems to think that he has to prove something to Cena, but in reality, Cena has something to prove to Owens. The NXT Champion then shows his destruction of Sami Zayn at NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable eight nights ago, saying that he knows how to “finish a fight” and that he took Sami Zayn out “for good”. Owens continues, saying that he was closer to Sami Zayn than any other human being in the world, saying that, if he was willing to do that to someone he cares about, then imagine what he will do to John Cena. Owens then says that, after WWE Elimination Chamber, there will be no doubt that the “real champ is here”.

Then it was time for the main event as, before he challenges Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Elimination Chamber, “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose would team with Roman Reigns to face WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Director of Operations Kane, with J&J Security in their corner, in a rematch from RAW. Throughout the match, J&J Security would repeatedly get involved in the match behind the referee’s back, but after Roman Reigns catches Seth Rollins with the Superman Punch, J&J Security would rush the ring, attacking Roman Reigns, ending the match by disqualification.

Dean Ambrose would then enter the ring to pull J&J Security off of Roman Reigns, even catching Seth Rollins with a right hand, but that is when Kane’s plan would come to fruition as the Director of Operations signals to the back. This would bring out WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day, who pounce on Dean Ambrose, but with Kane, J&J Security, and The New Day all in close proximity, it would provide the perfect opportunity for Roman Reigns, who dives to the outside, taking out five of the six men! Xavier Woods would manage to escape into the ring at the last minute, but Dean Ambrose would enter the ring, hitting Xavier with Dirty Deeds. This brings Big E into the ring, but Ambrose takes the big man out with a clothesline before Kofi Kingston leaps off of the top rope, only to be caught with the Superman Punch by Roman Reigns! Reigns then follows this up with a Spear to Big E, but Kane then enters the ring, delivering a chokeslam to Reigns. Seth Rollins then jumps back into the ring as Rollins and Kane beat Ambrose down before the WWE World Heavyweight Champion puts “The Lunatic Fringe” down with the Pedigree in the middle of the ring, having had the last laugh on behalf of The Authority before WWE Elimination Chamber as the champion and the Director of Operations stand tall.
