The 76th edition of WWE Main Event came to you, live, from the Toyota Center in Houston, TX. For the first time in the history of WWE Main Event, the one and only “Phenom” of the WWE, The Undertaker, would make a special appearance to address his opponent at WrestleMania, “The Beast” Brock Lesnar!
- Goldust & Cody Rhodes def. The Real Americans by Cody Rhodes pinning Jack Swagger following Cross Rhodes.
- The Funkadactyls def. Layla & Alicia Fox by Naomi pinning Alicia Fox following the split-legged moonsault.
- Big Show def. Titus O’Neil by pin following the Knockout Punch.
Brock Lesnar’s advocate, Paul Heyman, makes an appearance on his client’s behalf on WWE Main Event. After introducing himself, a nervous Heyman says that he means “no disrespect” to The Undertaker by taking up Undertaker’s time because The Undertaker will get all the “disrespect” he can handle at WrestleMania. Heyman continues, saying that one of the downsides of his job is that he has to deliver a message on behalf of Brock Lesnar with the knowledge that The Undertaker is indeed in the arena. Heyman says that the undefeated WrestleMania streak of The Undertaker is more important than the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, saying the streak can never be duplicated and, on behalf of his client, he wants The Undertaker to know that the streak will come to an end because it will be “conquered” by Brock Lesnar.
Having delivered his message for Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman was ready to leave the ring, but the unmistakable sound of The Undertaker’s gong would halt Heyman in the ring. However, “The Phenom” would appear behind Heyman and, when Heyman turns around, The Undertaker grabs Heyman by the throat, forcing the advocate to his knees. “The Deadman” tells Heyman that the only reason that he is letting Heyman walk out of there tonight is because he has a message for Heyman to deliver to Brock Lesnar. The Undertaker tells Heyman to tell Lesnar that, when The Undertaker gets to New Orleans, he is going to “slay the beast” and, once that is done, he is going to take the “rotting carcass” of Brock Lesnar and throw into the “fiery pits of eternal hell”. The Undertaker then concludes that, if Brock Lesnar does not fully understand the message, then he will be at RAW on Monday night to “hand deliver” the message to Brock Lesnar personally! “The Phenom” then tells Paul Heyman that he had better leave the ring while he is still “able”, shoving Heyman down, who quickly leaves the ring, quivering and screaming on the ramp as flames erupt from the stage.
