WWE Spoilers: Two Title Matches Announced for Battleground!

The inaugural edition of WWE Battleground will come to you, live on pay-per-view, two weeks from tomorrow on October 6 from the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, NY. As announced on WWE.com and on SmackDown, respectively, the WWE and World Heavyweight Titles will both be on the line at the event. Here is the current card:

  • WWE Championship: Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan
  • World Heavyweight Championship: Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Rob Van Dam

The match between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan will be for the vacant WWE Championship, meaning a new champion is guaranteed.
