The Wrestling-Online Newsletter is reporting that, as a part of WWE releasing their 2013 business plan to investors today, WWE also revealed the monthly subscription price for the upcoming WWE Network. In the plan, WWE confirmed that the network will be presented as a premium subscription channel akin to channels like HBO and Showtime and that the WWE Network will cost subscribers between $12.99 and $14.99 per month, which would make WWE an extra $125 million to $250 million in revenue.
As a part of the subscription price, viewers will get all sorts of original shows exclusive to the network, as well as every WWE pay-per-view, with the exception of WrestleMania, free on the WWE Network. For fans who do not subscribe to the WWE Network, they can still order the pay-per-views on their pay-per-view channels. The market research performed by WWE resulted in an estimate of two million to four million subscribers for the proposed WWE Network. However, there is still no official launch date for the WWE Network, but it appears that WWE is closer and closer to making an official announcement regarding the launch date.
