The third annual WWE Money-in-the-Bank will come to you, live on pay-per-view on July 15 from the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ. As announced on RAW, there will be a format change (at least in this instance) to the WWE Championship Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match as only four Superstars will be involved and, as a rule, only former WWE Champions were selected for the match. Also, the WWE Championship will be on the line at the event. Here is the updated card:
- WWE Championship Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match: John Cena vs. Big Show vs. Kane vs. Chris Jericho
- WWE Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Daniel Bryan
- World Heavyweight Championship Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match
In the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match, the first Superstar to climb a ladder and retrieve the Money-in-the-Bank briefcase will earn a guaranteed shot at the WWE (RAW) or World Heavyweight (SmackDown) Title at any time in the coming year.
