    Wwe Alberto Del Rio Ew3

    Noche fatal Del Rio.

Nine nights before Over The Limit, the 664th edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown came to you from the Roanoke Civic Center in Roanoke, VA. After finding out on RAW that he will be defending the World Heavyweight Title in a Fatal 4-Way at Over The Limit, World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus teams with Over The Limit opponent “The Viper” Randy Orton to face fellow title match participants, “The Mexican Aristocrat” Alberto Del Rio and six-time World Champion Chris Jericho in a rematch from RAW.

    Match Results

    • Sheamus & Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio & Chris Jericho fight to a No Contest after all four participants brawl in the ring.
    • A.J. def. Kaitlyn by pin following a modified Shining Wizard.
    • Daniel Bryan def. Big Show by submission to the Yes Lock after John Laurinaitis rings the bell and awards the match to Daniel Bryan.
    • Ryback def. Heath Slater by pin following the Machine Buster.
    • Antonio Cesaro def. Alex Riley by pin following the Gotch Style Neutralizer.
    • Randy Orton def. Alberto Del Rio (with Ricardo Rodriguez) by DQ after Ricardo Rodriguez interferes.
    • R-Truth (with Kofi Kingston) def. Jack Swagger (with Dolph Ziggler) by pin following the Little Jimmy.
    • Darren Young & Titus O’Neil def. Santino Marella & Zack Ryder by Titus O’Neil pinning Zack Ryder following the Ghetto Blaster.
    • Brodus Clay def. Hunico (with Camacho) by pin following the Funkasplash.
    • Non-Title: Chris Jericho def. Sheamus by DQ after Alberto Del Rio attacks Chris Jericho.

    Detailed Results

After finding out on RAW that he will defend the World Heavyweight Title in a Fatal 4-Way Match at Over The Limit, World Heavyweight Champion teamed with Over The Limit opponent “The Viper” Randy Orton to face the other two title match contenders, “The Mexican Aristocrat” Alberto Del Rio and six-time World Champion Chris Jericho in tag team action to kick off the show. During the match, all for competitors would brawl in the ring at the same time, leaving the referee no choice but to call for the bell. After the match, referees would rush out to break up the brawl as they are finally able to create distance between the four combatants. This leads to Executive Administrator Eve announcing that, later on in the night, World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus will go one-on-one with Chris Jericho while Randy Orton will go one-on-one with Alberto Del Rio.

After slapping Kaitlyn across the face the last two weeks over Kaitlyn trying to help her get over ex-boyfriend Daniel Bryan, A.J. would go one-on-one with her former friend, Kaitlyn. In a surprising display, the unbalanced A.J. makes quick work of Kaitlyn, striking with a modified Shining Wizard en route to picking up the win. The attack would continue after the match as A.J. would pummel Kaitlyn until a grinning Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring. The former World Heavyweight Champion says that he is “impressed” because he had no idea that A.J. could be so “ruthless”. Bryan continues that he is ready to move past the “angst” that has been between them since WrestleMania and, after he wins the WWE Title at Over The Limit, he is really looking forward to “moving on”. With A.J’s hopes up for a reconciling with her ex-boyfriend, Daniel Bryan reveals that he is ready to “move on” to dating Kaitlyn! As Daniel Bryan laughs at what he apparently thinks is a joke, A.J. gives Bryan an uncomfortable smile before leaving the ring. What has this latest ridicule from Daniel Bryan done to the already fragile psyche of A.J.?

After ridiculing his unbalanced ex, A.J., the #1 Contender for the WWE Title at Over The Limit, “The Yes Man” Daniel Bryan went one-on-one with “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show. During the match, Daniel Bryan manages to lock the Yes Lock in on Big Show, but as soon as the hold is locked in, the bell is rung. It is then revealed that the bell was rang by RAW & SmackDown General Manager John Laurinaitis, who grants Bryan the win via submission! After the match, Laurinaitis confronts Big Show and asks if Show thinks it is “funny” to make fun of the GM. Once again having to swallow his pride, Big Show says that, “no sir”, he does not think it is funny. Laurinaitis then says that he does not think that Big Show meant the apology he gave on RAW and, this coming Monday on RAW, Big Show will apologize to Laurinaitis’ face! After exiting the ring, Laurinaitis comments that, in nine nights at Over The Limit, he will defeat John Cena and shake the WWE to its foundation. Will John Laurinaitis somehow make good on his promise or will John Cena beat some sense into the General Manager at Over The Limit?

Ryback was in action on SmackDown as the undefeated “Juggernaut” of the WWE went one-on-one with Heath Slater. The seemingly unstoppable Ryback dominates the match, hitting the Machine Buster on Heath Slater en route to picking up another impressive win.

Per the orders of John Laurinaitis, Theodore Long served as the special guest ring announcer, having to talk up the self-proclaimed “Swiss Sensation” Antonio Cesaro, as Cesaro, with Aksana in his corner, went one-on-one with Alex Riley. In the end, it was Antonio Cesaro dropping Alex Riley with the Gotch Style Neutralizer en route to picking up the win. After the match, Aksana tells Theodore Long that she was just friends with Long, but Antonio Cesaro is her “lover”. The couple then kisses in front of a heartbroken Theodore Long.

After the tag match erupted in anarchy earlier in the night, “The Viper” Randy Orton would go one-on-one with “The Mexican Aristocrat” Alberto Del Rio, with personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez in his corner. During the match, Ricardo Rodriguez dives off of the top rope, but Randy Orton catches Rodriguez in mid-air with the RKO! After the match, Alberto Del Rio attacks Orton, locking in the cross armbreaker on Orton before referees rush out and force Del Rio to break the hold. With the Fatal 4-Way Match for the World Heavyweight Title just nine nights away, what condition will Randy Orton be in for the title match?

With their title defense against Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger coming up at Over The Limit, WWE Tag Team Champions R-Truth & Kofi Kingston appeared on SmackDown as R-Truth, with Kofi Kingston in his corner, went one-on-one with “The All-American American” Jack Swagger, with Dolph Ziggler & Vickie Guerrero in his corner. During the match, R-Truth would pin Jack Swagger, but Dolph Ziggler pulls R-Truth out of the ring, leading to a brief brawl between the four before Jack Swagger takes advantage of the match. Shortly after this, Kofi Kingston hits the Trouble in Paradise on Jack Swagger behind the referee’s back, allowing R-Truth to hit the Little Jimmy on Jack Swagger en route to picking up the win.

The unusual team of United States Champion Santino Marella & Zack Ryder faced Darren Young & Titus O’Neil on SmackDown. In the end, it was Darren Young & Titus O’Neil hitting the Ghetto Blaster on Zack Ryder en route to Titus O’Neil pinning Ryder to pick up the win for the team.

“The Funkasaurus” Brodus Clay was set to go one-on-one with Hunico, but before the match, Hunico and his bodyguard, Camacho, beat down Brodus. Despite this, Brodus Clay was still able to hit the Funkasplash en route to picking up the win over Hunico.

Then it was time for the main event as, nine nights before they join Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio in the Fatal 4-Way Match for the World Heavyweight Title at Over The Limit, World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus went one-on-one with Chris Jericho in a non-title match. During the match, Alberto Del Rio attacks Chris Jericho on the outside of the ring, sending Jericho into the steel steps. All hell then breaks loose as Del Rio locks in the cross armbreaker on the bad shoulder of Sheamus, but Randy Orton rushes out, attacking Del Rio. This leads to a face-off between Orton and Sheamus, but Jericho lays Del Rio out with the Codebreaker before making a quick exit as Orton delivers the RKO to Del Rio and Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick on Del Rio! What will happen when these four combustible elements step into the ring to battle in a Fatal 4-Way Match for the World Heavyweight Title at Over The Limit?
