WWE Spoilers: Third Inductee for the 2013 Hall of Fame Announced!

As announced on last night’s RAW, the only Diva of the Decade in WWE history, Trish Stratus, will join Mick Foley and Bob Backlund as an inductee into the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame on April 6 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Canadian-born Diva is also the most decorated Women’s Champion of all-time, holding the now defunct championship a record seven times throughout her career. Trish began her career as an on-screen valet for the aptly named tag team, “T & A”, which consisted of Test & Albert. Trish briefly served as the manager/valet for Val Venis, as well, before moving on in her career, getting ‘involved’ with the McMahon family. Following an infamous face turn at WrestleMania X-Seven, Trish began wrestling on a regular basis, winning her very first Women’s Championship at Survivor Series in 2001. In the Spring of 2002, Trish Stratus briefly held the Hardcore Championship, but over the next few years, Trish would continue to establish herself as, arguably, the greatest Diva of all-time, winning and defending the Women’s Title from and against the likes of Lita, Molly Holly, Victoria, Ivory, Jazz, Gail Kim, & Mickie James. At Unforgiven in 2006, Trish Stratus defeated Lita to win her seventh Women’s Title in Trish’s final regular match in the WWE. Trish would make sporadic appearances for the WWE, most notably teaming with John Morrison and Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi in a 6-Person Mixed Tag Match against Dolph Ziggler & LayCool at WrestleMania 27. In 2011, Trish Stratus also appeared alongside Booker T, Bill DeMott, and host Stone Cold Steve Austin for the revamped WWE Tough Enough. Currently, Stratus owns her own yoga studio and actively makes several television appearances as an actor and television personality. Trish Stratus joins other top women of WWE’s past in the Hall of Fame, including Sunny, Mae Young, Wendi Richter, Sherri Martel, & The Fabulous Moolah.

What do you think of Trish Stratus getting inducted into the Hall of Fame? Post your comments in the box below.
