WWE: RAW 1,000 a Big Success, Alex Riley in Trouble Backstage?

WrestleScoop.com is reporting that this past Monday’s 1,000th Episode of RAW scored big in the ratings as the nostalgic special got a 3.84 rating with hours of 3.48, 3.95, and 4.09. The show averaged over 6 million viewers over all three hours. This marks the first time since June 2009 that RAW scored more than 6 million viewers.

In addition, Trendrr.tv is reporting that the 1,000th RAW was at the top of the rankings for social media activity on cable television for the first time since April with a score of 907,443. That number is up 276.7% from last week’s two-hour RAW, which registered a 240,889 score.

PWInsider.com is reporting that RAW Superstar and former NXT Rookie Alex Riley lost his push several months ago due to a backstage incident with John Cena. Apparently, Cena was ribbing the young Superstar and Riley responded quite angrily to Cena, which was seen as breaking an unwritten rule of backstage conduct.
