WWE: Online War Erupts Over Sycho Sid’s Appearance

    By Cassidy
    | June 27, 2012
    Wrestling News

After his hugely popular re-emergence on RAW, where he competed against Heath Slater as a special promotion of former RAW Superstars making appearances, Sycho Sid (also known as Sid Vicious or simply Sid) appearing in a WWE ring for the first time in fifteen years has sparked an online war, reports WrestleScoop.com.

The war started with independent wrestler, glamour model, and girlfriend of Matt Hardy, Reby Sky, who ripped Sid’s appearance, saying (cleaned up to make it readable for all audiences), “That piece of [trash] Sid no-shows almost EVERY show in the last year, but prances onto RAW. Please tell us again how much you LOVE ‘the business’. Guess he managed not to ‘lose his wallet’ this time. Sad thing is, now that he’s got 10 more minutes of fame, he’ll get more bookings to NO-SHOW.”

Reby Sky continued, “[Forget] people like that. You [screw] with peoples’ time, money, and professional integrity because you’re too much of a douche to keep your word. I’m all for hustlin’, but BLACKMAILING promoters into giving you more money after threatening not to show, then STILL not showing after they do. Makes me sick.”

Reby Sky is referring to a Pro Wrestling Syndicate event on March 9 where Sid was scheduled to face Reby’s boyfriend, Matt Hardy, but Sid claimed that his wallet was stolen, so he could not make his flight. The promoter of the event, Pat Buck, responded by publicly calling Sid and having the audience boo the four-time World Champion while Buck left Sid a message before Buck gave Sid’s phone number to fans.

While Reby Sky was outraged about Sid’s appearance, WWE Hall of Famer and Sid’s good friend, Tammy Lynn Sytch (known as Sunny in WWE), was outraged by Reby’s comments. Sytch responded to the comments, saying “WOW! Just read something about Reby Sky, who is only known for being Matt Hardy’s girlfriend, going off about my good friend Sid Vicious…Like she has room to talk? Who is she? NO ONE! And she was completely disrespectful to the locker room at a show I was on with her…OOOHH just wait till I see her again, [stuff’s] gonna fly.”

Sunny continued, “One thing I’ve always stood by, you always show respect for those who have seniority in this business…she’s too dumb and ignorant to know that. I was raised, old-school, by the right people and she deserves an old-school ass-whipping…she disrespected me and the entire locker room on the show I was on with Matt…I’ll never say I was on a show with HER. Matt and I have been friends for years…I’m surprised she hasn’t learned a little bit.”

Tammy mentioned Sid no-showing events, saying “Regardless of if he no-shows or not, someone like her has no right to disrespect someone like him! Sid likes to play his softball…everyone knows it.”

A good friend of Matt Hardy, Shannon Moore, also commented on the situation, saying “Sid is great. He worked with 3 Count in WCW and worked hard. If you have been in the business for 3 minutes, you’re opinion don’t f’n count. Thanks Sid!!”

Do you agree with Reby Sky or do you agree with Sunny? Post your comments in the box below.
