In his WWE career, Rodney “Yokozuna” Anoa’i was a two-time WWE Champion, two-time World Tag Team Champion (with Owen Hart), and was the winner of the 1993 Royal Rumble Match. On October 23, 2000, Yokozuna died of a pulmonary edema (fluid in the air spaces of the lungs). Yokozuna was a member of the famous Anoa’i family as he was the cousin to such names as Umaga, Samu, Rikishi, Rosey, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Yokozuna joins Edge, Mil Mascaras, Mike Tyson, Ron Simmons, and The Four Horsemen (Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham, and J.J. Dillon). The 2012 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on March 31 and will air the night after WrestleMania on April 2 at 8/7c on the USA Network.
