The premiere episode of WWE SmackDown Live came to you, live, from the DCU Center in Worcester, MA. On a groundbreaking, career-altering night that would change the course of WWE forever, the entire WWE roster would be split in two as the WWE brand extension would return to shake things up again as the WWE Draft would be held on SmackDown Live to determine who will be exclusively competing on RAW and who will be exclusively competing on SmackDown Live with RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and RAW General Manager Mick Foley making the draft picks for RAW while SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon and SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan would be making the draft picks for SmackDown Live! With currently active Superstars such as Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Chris Jericho, Sasha Banks, AJ Styles, and even WWE Champion Dean Ambrose all eligible to be drafted, there is no telling where WWE’s top stars will be come next week as the entire landscape of WWE will be altered and the new era of fighting for survival between RAW and SmackDown will begin.
