    Seth Rollins 13 16092014

    Double Duty.

The 1162nd edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL. Last week’s RAW was supposed to be a banner night for WWE World Heavyweight and United States Champion Seth Rollins as The Authority was set to unveil the champion’s new statue that would adorn the lobby of WWE Headquarters alongside Bruno Sammartino, The Ultimate Warrior, & Andre The Giant, but one legend took exception to Seth Rollins’ boastful claims of becoming “immortal” by getting his own statue and that was “The Icon” Sting. Appearing in a WWE ring for the first time since WrestleMania, Sting would attack the champion, hitting the Stinger Splash on Rollins before sending the WWE World Heavyweight and United States Champion out of the ring before holding the WWE World Heavyweight Title belt high above his head, letting Seth Rollins and the world know his intentions. WWE COO Triple H would waste no time in setting up the title match as, in an exclusive WWE Network interview after RAW went off the air, Triple H announced that, in three weeks at Night of Champions, Sting will compete for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for the first time in his legendary career as “The Icon” will challenge Seth Rollins for WWE’s top prize! It has been nearly sixteen years since Sting last held a championship, but can Sting make history at Night of Champions by unseating Seth Rollins as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion? With Sting scheduled to make a rare television appearance to kick off RAW, what will Sting have to say regarding his upcoming title match against Seth Rollins? Will Seth Rollins seek revenge for Sting’s ambush last week?
