    Detailed Results

After last week’s RAW ended with an unprecedented beat down of Brock Lesnar at the hands of the reunited Authority, this week’s RAW kicks off with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins with The Authority’s Director of Operations Kane and J&J Security, complete with a still recovering Jamie Noble, in tow as The Authority makes their way to the ring. With a smile on his face, the champion welcomes everyone to “Monday Night Rollins” before saying that Washington, D.C. is a city “obsessed with power”. Rollins then says that you get “power” by doing things that other people couldn’t do, saying that he did something last week that Roman Reigns couldn’t do, something that John Cena couldn’t do if his “life depended on it”, and something even The Undertaker couldn’t do. Rollins continues, saying that he took “power” last week when he “conquered the conqueror”, Brock Lesnar, saying that he took a trip to “Suplex City” and he “burned it to the ground”. The champion then says that Brock Lesnar is on a plane to Japan right now for the WWE Network special on July 4. Rollins says that he hopes that “The Beast” is thinking about what happened to him last week before pointing out the three broken ribs that Jamie Noble suffered at the hands of Brock Lesnar last week. Rollins continues, saying that there was no way that Noble was going to miss this night, telling the fans to stand up and show Jamie Noble the appreciation he “deserves”.

The champion then says that the fans should all stand up and show their “respect” for The Authority, saying that he cannot say enough about Kane and J&J Security. Rollins then says that, as a token of his appreciation for Kane and J&J Security, he got them all brand new Apple Watches! Kane and J&J Security then put on their presents with smiles on their faces before Rollins brings Kane over for a special gift just for him. The champion says that a lot has changed since Kane debuted in WWE in October 1997, saying that, for seventeen years, Kane has been the “glue” that has held WWE together and, during his entire career, Kane has never asked for anything. Rollins then reveals that he is sending the Director of Operations on his first ever vacation to Hawaii! Rollins then brings out some Luau patrons to give Kane a small taste of Hawaii before Kane comments on the gift, saying that he’s always wanted to relax on the beach and think about which animal he wants to throw into a volcano and, when he’s doing that, he will have Seth Rollins to thank for it. The champion then suggests that they send Kane off to Hawaii “in style” when they team up to “destroy” Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns in a No Disqualification Tag Match in the main event. Rollins then says that nobody “reeks of style” like J&J Security before unveiling a brand new Cadillac CTS for his security team. Ecstatic over their shiny new gift, J&J Security rush out to admire the Cadillac CTS, followed shortly by Seth Rollins and Kane as the champion runs down the specs of the new ride, revealing that the total price of the new car is $55,860! The champion continues, saying that he represents the “very best in all walks of life” before saying that this is what “true power” really looks like. Jamie Noble then lays on the horn as The Authority’s “extended family” member “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show makes his way to the ring.

Before he and The Miz challenge Ryback for the Intercontinental Championship in a Triple Threat Match in less than three weeks at Battleground, the opening match of the night would see “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show square off with “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry with The Miz a guest on commentary. Big Show would make quick work of Mark Henry, leveling “The World’s Strongest Man” with the Knockout Punch, pinning Henry for the win. After the match, Ryback would rush out and a battle would break out between the two big men with Ryback taking out Big Show. The Miz then hits the ring, hitting a big boot on the Intercontinental Champion, making a quick escape from the ring, leaving a seething Ryback in the ring as “The Big Guy” demands that, despite their match being scheduled for later on in the night, he wants their match to take place now.

Ryback would then get his wish as the Intercontinental Champion would go one-on-one with The Miz in a non-title match on RAW. During the match, Ryback would look for the Meat Hook Clothesline on The Miz, but The Miz would quickly roll out of the ring and run to the back, which would give Ryback the win by count-out.

With no allies to speak of in her crusade against The Bella Twins, Paige would go one-on-one with Bella supporter Alicia Fox, with The Bella Twins in her corner. During the match, Paige would knock Nikki Bella off of the ring apron and Alicia Fox would try to take advantage with a roll-up, but Paige would counter with a roll-up of her own, scoring the three-count to pick up the win.

Just under three weeks before he puts the United States Title on the line against NXT Champion Kevin Owens at Battleground, United States Champion John Cena was on RAW to defend the United States Title in the U.S. Open Challenge. Unexpectedly, the Superstar to answer the open challenge was none other than Cena’s Battleground opponent Kevin Owens as the NXT Champion would appear to accept the challenge! However, after the introductions are made, Kevin Owens decides to exit the ring, saying that he will wait for Battleground and, if anyone is going to take the United States Championship from John Cena, it’s going to be him.

Kevin Owens then brings out the Superstar who will be challenging John Cena for the United States Championship in the U.S. Open Challenge tonight, Cesaro, as “The Swiss Superman” would challenge John Cena for the United States Title on RAW with Kevin Owens a guest on commentary. During an incredible match, Cesaro would give it his all, even managing to counter John Cena’s STF into the Sharpshooter, but the champion is able to make it to the ropes to force the break. Later on in the match, Kevin Owens would inexplicably get out of his seat and take a swipe at Michael Cole, citing Cole was disrespecting him before the NXT Champion takes his seat again. At the end of a match that was nothing short of an instant classic, Cesaro would again lock the Sharpshooter in on John Cena, but with the United States Champion about to tap out, Kevin Owens would enter the ring and attack Cesaro, ending the match by disqualification. Kevin Owens then hits Cesaro with the Pop-Up Powerbomb before attacking John Cena, hitting Cena with the Pop-Up Powerbomb as well! The NXT Champion then grabs a microphone, repeating that, if anyone is going to take the United States Championship from John Cena, it’s going to be him before vowing that, at Battleground, he will take the title from Cena.

Bray Wyatt would then appear from his dark location with a message for his Battleground opponent Roman Reigns. Bray says that he always thought he should be his father’s favorite, but instead, his father threw him away like a “piece of trash”. Wyatt then says that, now, he’s “awake” and he’s got his “wings back” before saying that Reigns knows all of the “horrible things” that he is capable of, saying that their “fun” is just beginning. Bray continues, saying that he is the “darkness” to Roman’s “light” before saying that Roman will “never succeed” because he will not allow it, saying “anyone but you”.

In a rematch from SmackDown, WWE Tag Team Champions The Prime Time Players would again join forces with The Lucha Dragons to face The New Day and Bo Dallas in an 8-Man Tag Match. In the end, it came down to Titus O’Neil and Kofi Kingston alone in the ring as Titus hits the Clash of the Titus, pinning Kofi to pick up the win for his team.

With their exact relationship being debated in recent weeks, Dolph Ziggler & Lana would appear on RAW as the couple would apparently “go public” with their relationship. Dolph says that his and Lana’s relationship started out because Lana was using Dolph to make Rusev jealous, but it has evolved before Ziggler says that the “situation has changed”. Lana then elaborates that Rusev was her “life” and, for years, she didn’t know what a “real man” was before saying that Rusev used to tell her how to live her life. The giddy Lana then says that Dolph treats her with respect and they have become “more than just friends”, saying that Ziggler is “very passionate”. Before the couple can continue, Rusev interrupts as the injured “Bulgarian Brute” makes his way to the ring with Summer Rae by his side. Rusev claims that he doesn’t care about Lana and he never did before Dolph interrupts. Dolph calls Rusev a “scumbag”, calling Lana his “girlfriend” and saying that Rusev “blew it”, telling Rusev to walk away before he does something about Rusev’s good leg! Rusev then hands his crutch to Summer Rae as the two men look ready to square off, but the injured Rusev thinks better of it, taking his crutch back. However, despite Rusev waiting for Summer’s assistance on the apron, Summer decides to confront Lana, saying that there is nothing that she hates more than a “gold digger”. Summer then says that, the moment that Rusev got injured, Lana “jumped ship” before Summer says that Rusev cared about Lana a lot, telling Lana to tell the people what she has known all along, that Lana is a “two-faced, conniving, little phony”. Lana just laughs at the accusation before Summer slaps Lana across the face and this sparks a cat fight between Lana and Summer with Rusev having to pull Summer out of the ring to break up the fight.

“Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” was in action on RAW as Sheamus would go one-on-one with “The Man That Gravity Forgot” Neville. Neville would use his speed advantage to take Sheamus to the limit, but Sheamus would knock Neville off of the top rope and, shortly after this, Sheamus would hit the Brogue Kick on the high-flyer, pinning Neville for the win.

The 2015 King of the Ring was in action on RAW as King Barrett would go one-on-one with Jack Swagger. King Barrett would make quick work of Jack Swagger, catching Swagger with the Royal Bull Hammer, pinning Swagger for the win.

Then it was time for the main event as WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins would team with The Authority’s Director of Operations Kane, with J&J Security in their corner, to face “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns in a No Disqualification Tag Match. During a chaotic and lawless match, Dean Ambrose would look to take full advantage of having no disqualifications as Ambrose would slide a table into the ring, but J&J Security would pull the table right back out of the ring. Shortly after this, Joey Mercury would grab a kendo stick, attempting to use it on Roman Reigns, but Roman would use the stick against Mercury as well as Kane before breaking the stick in half. Reigns then catches Kane with the Superman Punch, followed by a Superman Punch to Joey Mercury before Roman takes out Seth Rollins with a third Superman Punch! The lights would go out in the arena and, when they come back on, Bray Wyatt is attacking Roman Reigns. Bray then pummels Reigns on the outside and, despite referees pleading with Wyatt, Bray would slam Reigns on top of the announce table! The referees then break up the fight, forcing Bray Wyatt to the backstage area.

Meanwhile, in the ring, Kane and Dean Ambrose are the first two men to their feet, but Seth Rollins would get back to his feet and, after a chokeslam from Kane, the champion would plant Ambrose with the Pedigree, pinning “The Lunatic Fringe” to pick up the win. After the match, however, Seth Rollins would have his sights set on destruction as the champion has J&J Security bring a table into the ring as they set up the table in the corner with the intent of putting Ambrose through the table. However, Roman Reigns would intervene, but the numbers game would prove to be too much for Roman as Kane would stop Roman’s onslaught with a chokeslam. Seth Rollins then takes the time to taunt Roman Reigns and it would give Reigns the opportunity to battle back, forcing The Authority to retreat, but the retreat was only temporary as The Authority would surround the ring before attacking Roman. Reigns would still manage to fight back, but another chokeslam from Kane would put Roman down again before Kane and J&J Security pick Roman Reigns up and puts Roman in position for Seth Rollins to deliver a powerbomb to Reigns through the table! Despite just going through a table, Roman Reigns would still try to get to his feet and Rollins would drag Reigns out from the rubble of the broken table, planting Reigns with the Pedigree in the middle of the ring. The Authority would then exit the ring as Bray Wyatt makes his way to the ring as Bray picks up the helpless Roman Reigns, delivering Sister Abigail to Reigns in the middle of the ring before kneeling by Roman’s side and shouting “follow the buzzards”.
