WWE RAW Results: March 16, 2015By Cassidy| March 18, 2015 WWE Raw Previous Page Detailed Results One week after being assaulted and put through the announce table with an RKO by Randy Orton, RAW kicks off with “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” and Iowa’s own Seth Rollins, who is flanked by fellow Authority members Kane, Big Show, and J&J Security. Rollins calls what Orton did last week “betrayal”, saying that none of the fans know what it’s like to be betrayed because they are all “nobodies”. Rollins continues, saying that Orton “stalked” him like an “animal” and mocked him while he was “suffering”. Rollins then says that he “trusted” Randy Orton and treated him like a “family member”, but Orton “betrayed” him. Rollins says that what he did to The Shield was a “sound business decision” made to secure his “future”, but what Orton did was “different”, saying that Orton assaulted him without the tiniest shred of “human decency”, calling the attack “borderline sociopathic”. Rollins then says that Orton made “fools” out of every member of The Authority, including Triple H & Stephanie McMahon and, if it wasn’t for them welcoming Orton back into The Authority, none of this would have ever happened. Big Show then asks for the microphone as Big Show says that he is “sorry” and he feels like he is “partially responsible” for what happened last week. Big Show continues, saying that he believes in Rollins as the “future” of WWE and he sees Rollins as the “best damn talent in WWE”. Big Show then says what Randy Orton did was “cruel”, saying that he thought Orton could see the “bigger picture”, but Orton is just a no good “snake in the grass”, saying that he “crushes” snakes with his boot because he is a giant. The Authority’s Director of Operations Kane then says that he is “sorry” too, saying that he wasn’t as “gullible” as Big Show, but Randy Orton sucked him in too and he will make sure that Orton will “pay” for betraying all of them. J&J Security’s Jamie Noble then speaks up, saying that he is considered the “secret weapon” of The Authority and Orton has put his hands on him many times, but he doesn’t care about himself, he cares about Rollins. Noble then says that Rollins is his “friend” and what Orton was “inexcusable”, but the man it hurt the most was Joey Mercury. Noble then tries to hand the microphone over to Mercury, but an apparently emotional Mercury was unable to speak, handing the microphone back. Seth Rollins then says that, for years, Randy Orton has thought that he can get away with anything without having to deal with the “consequences”, but Orton has never dealt with someone like Seth Rollins. Rollins then addresses Randy Orton’s challenge for a match at WrestleMania, accepting the challenge to face “The Viper”! Rollins then adds that there is one condition to him accepting the challenge, that Orton come out to the ring and face him in the ring tonight on RAW! Seth Rollins would not have to wait long for his confrontation with Randy Orton as “The Viper” comes out to the stage, saying that he made Rollins look like a “little bitch” last week. Orton then accepts Rollins’ challenge to face him in the main event later tonight before saying that he knows Seth Rollins and he is expecting a five-on-one situation with the rest of The Authority backing Rollins. Orton continues, saying that Rollins is going to need all the help that he can get because he has got enough “venom” for every member of The Authority. Orton then admits that he may get beatdown by The Authority, but it will be “worth it” because he’s got Seth Rollins in a one-on-one match at WrestleMania, saying that Rollins had better finish him tonight because, if he makes it to WrestleMania, he is going to “finish the future” of WWE! Thirteen nights before she teams with Paige to face The Bella Twins at WrestleMania, AJ Lee, with Paige in her corner, would go one-on-one with Divas Champion Nikki Bella, with Brie Bella in her corner, in a non-title match. During the match, Nikki Bella would throw AJ Lee to the outside and, on the outside, Brie Bella would close in on AJ Lee before Paige stops Brie. Then, as the action continues in the ring, Brie Bella and Paige get into an argument on the outside before Brie shoves Paige face-first into the ring post. This would distract AJ Lee long enough for Nikki Bella to take advantage as the Divas Champion blasts AJ with a stiff forearm before hitting the Rack Attack, pinning AJ Lee for the win. Backstage, an interview with Director of Operations Kane and “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show turns into another petty argument between the two giants as Kane announces that Big Show will be in Seth Rollins’ corner tonight for Rollins’ match against Randy Orton. While Big Show does not have a problem with being in the corner of Seth Rollins, he does have a problem with Kane waiting to announce it in public instead of telling him privately like a “human being”. Kane tells Big Show that he’s the Director of Operations and he makes the decisions, saying he doesn’t have to listen to Big Show. Seth Rollins then intervenes, reminding Kane & Big Show that their arguing is what got them sent home last week, saying that it’s just like Stephanie McMahon said, they fail to see the “bigger picture”. Rollins then asks how “stupid” Kane & Big Show can be and the two giants take exception to this with Kane getting in Rollins’ face and saying that Stephanie can address them however she sees fit, but Seth Rollins cannot. Kane then says that they kind of “enjoyed” what Randy Orton did to Seth Rollins last week, saying that Rollins has been acting like a “spoiled brat” ever since he allowed Seth Rollins to win the Money-in-the-Bank contract last year! Kane then says that he will not be at ringside for Seth Rollins’ match later tonight, giving the option to Big Show on whether or not he wants to be in Rollins’ corner. Big Show would then get in Seth Rollins’ face before both giants exit, making it apparent that neither man wants to be in Rollins’ corner. Two weeks before they join several other Superstars in the Second Annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, RAW would see “The Big Guy” Ryback face the self-proclaimed “A-Lister” The Miz, with his personal assistant Damien Mizdow in his corner. During the match, Ryback would take The Miz to the outside, holding The Miz in place and telling Damien Mizdow to hit him. However, The Miz would fight back before getting into an argument with Mizdow, telling Mizdow to lower his fist. The argument would allow Ryback to take advantage as “The Big Guy” blasts The Miz with the Meat Hook Clothesline, following it up with Shell Shocked and pinning The Miz to pick up the win. After the match, Damien Mizdow would help The Miz to his feet only for The Miz to grab Mizdow and plant his personal assistant with the Skull Crushing Finale. After John Cena used his STF to render Rusev unconscious, forcing Lana to grant him a rematch for the United States Title at WrestleMania, John Cena and United States Champion Rusev would come face-to-face for the official contract signing for their match at WrestleMania. The mediator for the contract signing, Michael Cole, first introduces John Cena, asking Cena to sign the contract. Cena says that he has signed a lot of contracts in his career, but the one he is about to sign is the “most important” because they are about to see a man named Rusev. Cena then says that, as the United States Champion, Rusev represents the United States of America and represents each and every American. Cena continues, saying that, as long as Rusev is the United States Champion, he will represent each and every American before saying that America has provided Rusev with a “great opportunity”, but all he does is “belittle” America. Cena then says that it is “disrespectful” that Rusev represents a country that they call “home” and that Rusev is going to learn that you can only push America so far before America pushes back. Cena then emphatically signs the contract before Michael Cole introduces the United States Champion Rusev, who is not accompanied to the ring by Lana, but instead is accompanied by an unnamed man. As the crowd chants “we want Lana”, the stranger asks for a microphone, saying that Rusev will not be signing the contract as Rusev did not agree to a match at WrestleMania. Identified as Rusev’s lawyer, the man shows footage of what happened last week where Lana agreed to the rematch, not Rusev. The lawyer then declares that the only man who can grant Cena his rematch at WrestleMania is Rusev himself, therefore the contract is “null and void”. The Rusev then speaks with his apparent lawyer, saying that, if Cena can contain his “barbaric behavior” and allow Rusev to read his “prepared statement”, then Rusev will agree to the match at WrestleMania. Cena agrees and Rusev reads his statement, which calls Cena “weak”, saying that America “worships failures” and, with Cena ready to take Rusev’s head off, Rusev continues his disparaging statement. Rusev says that America is a “cancer to the world” before getting in Cena’s face, calling America a “stupid little country” that will “die”. Rusev then signs the contract and, as soon as his signature is on the contract, Rusev flips the table over, allowing Rusev and his lawyer to make a quick escape from the ring, avoiding harm at the hands of John Cena for the time being. In a rematch from last week’s RAW, the WWE Tag Team Champions Cesaro & Tyson Kidd, with Natalya in their corner, would face The New Day’s Big E & Kofi Kingston, with Xavier Woods in their corner, in a non-title match with Los Matadores coming out to the entranceway before the match begins. In the end, it was Kofi Kingston hitting Trouble in Paradise on Tyson Kidd, allowing Cesaro to deliver the European uppercut to Kofi Kingston, pinning Kofi for the win. After the match, Los Matadores would attack Xavier Woods on the outside before tossing Woods into the ring. Cesaro then hits the Neutralizer on Xavier Woods before El Torito attacks Cesaro, sending Cesaro out of the ring. Backstage, Seth Rollins is talking with J&J Security, telling his security team that he cannot be left “high and dry” like he was last week. However, Jamie Noble brings up that Seth Rollins told them to leave ringside last week and Rollins says that they are not paid to “argue” with him, they are paid to protect him, but Noble does not back down, saying that if Rollins would have listened to him about Randy Orton in the first place, then Rollins wouldn’t be in this mess. Rollins responds to Noble’s independence by slapping Noble across the face! Joey Mercury quickly gets between Rollins and Noble as Rollins asks Noble to explain himself. Noble tells Rollins that having the Money-in-the-Bank contract and being the “future” of WWE is going to Seth Rollins’ head. Rollins then threatens to fire Jamie Noble, but before Rollins can fire him, Jamie Noble quits, walking out on Seth Rollins! Rollins shouts that Noble is a “baby” and he and Mercury don’t need him anyways, but Mercury looks at Rollins, shrugs his shoulders, and walks out as well, apparently quitting too! Two weeks before he defends the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar would make an appearance on RAW in an exclusive pre-taped interview. Lesnar states that he was put on this earth to “seek and destroy and to hurt people”, saying that he “enjoys” hurting people and that’s why he’s here. Lesnar says that, to him, WrestleMania is the day that he gets to “show up, kick somebody’s ass, and get paid to do so”, saying that The Undertaker did not “stand a chance” against him at last year’s WrestleMania and he doesn’t “care” if people were disappointed that he beat The Undertaker. The champion then comments on his WWE contract, saying that regardless of if he stays in WWE or if he leaves WWE, he will be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion! Lesnar then says that, as a rookie, they put him against The Rock and he sent The Rock to Hollywood then they put him against The Undertaker and he ended the streak. Lesnar continues, saying that he suplexed John Cena out of the main event and he doesn’t need to “hunt”, he needs to “get fed”. The champion then says that, if they think he was “crazy” in “hunt mode”, then they should stay tuned for Brock Lesnar in “defense mode”. Lesnar then addresses his WrestleMania opponent, saying that Roman Reigns can think all he wants that he can win, but he is going to kick Roman’s ass at WrestleMania and there will be no “happy ending”. Lesnar then declares that, at WrestleMania, he is going to “f*** up” Roman Reigns, ending the interview by saying “the end”. One of the favorites to win the Second Annual Andre The Giant Battle Royal was set for action on RAW as “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show was scheduled to face Erick Rowan. However, Big Show would ambush Erick Rowan before the match can begin as the angry giant would take Rowan down, putting the boots to Rowan before slamming Rowan in the middle of the ring. Big Show then picks Rowan up, blasting Rowan with the Knockout Punch before “The World’s Largest Athlete” climbs to the middle rope, dropping all his weight on Erick Rowan with a huge elbow drop. Big Show then exits the ring as the ringside doctor tends to Erick Rowan in the ring. It was announced on RAW that the self-proclaimed “Living Legend” Larry Zbyszko will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as the former AWA World Heavyweight Champion and former WWWF Tag Team Champion will join The Bushwhackers, Rikishi, Alundra Blayze, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Warrior Award recipient Connor Michalek, & “Macho Man” Randy Savage in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2015. Director of Operations Kane would then appear in the ring, dressed for action, with fellow Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal participants Jack Swagger, Goldust, Heath Slater, Zack Ryder, Fandango, Adam Rose, Darren Young, Titus O’Neil, & Curtis Axel. Kane says that there is only one man who is going to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal and that is him, so he invited all of them out there for a “demonstration” of what he is going to do come WrestleMania. However, Kane’s “demonstration” is pre-empted by “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry, who comes out and announces that he will be a part of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania! Mark Henry then enters the ring as a nine-man brawl breaks out with Curtis Axel watching from the outside. Mark Henry is then quick to make a statement, tossing Adam Rose over the top rope, followed shortly by Fandango. Not to be outdone, Kane tosses Goldust over the top rope, as well as Jack Swagger before Mark Henry tosses Darren Young and Zack Ryder to the outside and Kane tosses Titus O’Neil, leaving only Kane and Mark Henry in the ring. The two giants then tee off on each other with Mark Henry lifting Kane over the top rope and this when Curtis Axel decides to enter the ring, knocking Kane off of the ring apron, but Curtis Axel would fail to hoist “The World’s Strongest Man” over the top rope and Mark Henry would toss Curtis Axel over the top rope with relative ease, making a major statement for WrestleMania. After his client, Brock Lesnar, made some poignant and controversial statements earlier in the night, Lesnar’s advocate Paul Heyman would appear live on RAW. Heyman says that Brock Lesnar is the “most legitimate champion” in the history and future of both WWE and MMA. Heyman then says that Brock Lesnar is not a “pacifist”, he is a “conqueror” and a “beast” and he is coming to WrestleMania to “make war”. Heyman continues, saying that what are they going to do when Brock Lesnar “violates” the “boundaries” that are being imposed upon him, asking if WWE will “cut the feed” of WrestleMania or give all the fans their money back. Heyman then says that they are “stuck” with Brock Lesnar as their WWE World Heavyweight Champion. For the third week in a row, Heyman’s tirade is cut short when the production team cuts Heyman’s microphone off. After patiently waiting for them to turn the microphone back on, Heyman says that no one can “stop” Brock Lesnar, not even Roman Reigns. Heyman continues, asking what will happen when Brock Lesnar gives Roman a “prison beating” at WrestleMania before repeating that Roman “can’t” beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania and he “can’t” take the WWE World Heavyweight Title away from Brock Lesnar. Heyman then says that Roman’s father should have taught him that before Heyman is interrupted by the #1 Contender himself, Roman Reigns, who confronts Paul Heyman in the ring. Roman says that he’s got a lot of “respect” for Paul Heyman, saying that his issue is not with Paul Heyman, it’s with Heyman’s client, Brock Lesnar. Roman then turns away from Paul Heyman, saying that he is expecting a “war” at WrestleMania, saying that he’s got a lot of family members who can carry him out after WrestleMania, but he is going to be carried out as the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Roman continues, saying that he is going to have the title belt right next to the “chip” on his shoulder from people telling him that he “can’t” win at WrestleMania before vowing to beat Brock’s ass at WrestleMania. Roman then declares that he is not going to beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania because he “wants” to or “needs” to, but because he “can”, he “will”, and because he “believes that”. Before they, along with R-Truth, compete in an Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match at WrestleMania, Daniel Bryan would team with Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose to face Luke Harper, Stardust, & Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett in a 6-Man Tag Match with R-Truth a guest on commentary with Bad News Barrett’s Intercontinental Title belt clipped to the back of his suit jacket. During a chaotic match, Dolph Ziggler would go for a super kick on Luke Harper, but Harper would move out of the way and Dolph would inadvertently kick his own partner, Daniel Bryan, off of the ring apron! Dolph then takes Harper out with a super kick before Bad News Barrett tosses “The Show” off to the outside, right on top of Barrett’s tag partners Stardust & Luke Harper! Barrett then goes for the Bull Hammer Elbow, but Dean Ambrose counters, hitting Dirty Deeds and pinning the Intercontinental Champion for the win. After the match, Luke Harper would ambush Dean Ambrose, tossing Ambrose over the announce table, but as Harper confronts R-Truth, demanding Truth hand over the Intercontinental Title belt, Ambrose would attack Harper. With R-Truth’s focus on the fight between Ambrose and Harper, Stardust would sneak up behind R-Truth and take the Intercontinental Title belt, quickly escaping into the crowd! However, Dean Ambrose would give chase, catching up to Stardust in the crowd as a brawl breaks out between Ambrose and Stardust. Thinking he has the better of Stardust, Ambrose would grab the title belt and toss into the ringside area, but Stardust would attack Ambrose from behind and, as Ambrose and Stardust battle it out, R-Truth grabs the title belt again. Before R-Truth can make his exit, however, he is stopped by Luke Harper who still demands the title belt, but R-Truth tosses the belt into the ring in front of Daniel Bryan as Dean Ambrose dives off of the ringside barricade, taking out Luke Harper! Back in the ring, Daniel Bryan gets to his feet with the Intercontinental Title belt in his possession, but Dolph Ziggler tries to take the title belt, leading to a fight between Ziggler and Bryan! Stardust then jumps back into the fray, but is dispatched with a super kick from Dolph Ziggler before Daniel Bryan ducks a clothesline from Luke Harper, taking Harper out with the running knee. Bad News Barrett then enters the ring, taking out both Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan with the Bull Hammer Elbow, following it up with a third Bull Hammer Elbow to Dean Ambrose! Barrett would then finally regain possession of his Intercontinental Title belt before confronting the only man left standing on the outside, R-Truth, leveling Truth with the Bull Hammer Elbow as well! Barrett then climbs one of the ladders set up on the stage, having made a lasting statement for WrestleMania. Having already alienated Kane & Big Show and making J&J Security quit, Seth Rollins would confront WWE COO Triple H & WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon backstage, asking the power couple what they’re going to do about him having to face Randy Orton alone. Stephanie tells Seth Rollins that he has made his “own bed” and he’s going to have to “lie in it”, but Rollins argues, saying that if it wasn’t for Stephanie sending Kane & Big Show home last week, then he would not even be in the situation he’s in. This gets the attention of Triple H, who asks Rollins who he thinks he’s talking to, but Rollins continues to let his mouth get him in trouble as Rollins asks Triple H is he’s taking a break from playing “hide and seek” with Sting! The COO gets in Seth Rollins’ face, but Rollins says that Triple H isn’t going to “screw up” the “future” of WWE before Stephanie separates Rollins and her husband. Stephanie then tells Rollins to take responsibility for his own actions and “be a man” for once with Triple H adding that Rollins should “run along” before his situation goes from “bad to worse”! After his challenge to The Undertaker for a match at WrestleMania was finally answered by “The Deadman” on last week’s RAW, the self-proclaimed “New Face of Fear” Bray Wyatt would appear from his undisclosed location to address his upcoming showdown at WrestleMania. With a special red urn before him, Bray Wyatt says that he remembers the first time he saw Sister Abigail sitting in her chair, recalling Abigail teaching him about people like The Undertaker. Bray continues, saying that The Undertaker tried to use the “memory” against him and tried to use the symbolic rocking chair to “burn fear” into his heart, but the only thing that The Undertaker succeeded in doing is turning a “chair into dust”. Dumping the ashes of the chair onto his hand, Wyatt says that, last year, we saw a “broken streak” and a “broken, empty soul” before saying that The Undertaker’s “destiny” was taken. Bray then says that The Undertaker’s “fate is sealed” and WrestleMania will be The Undertaker’s “final resting place”, but it will also be Bray’s “coronation”. Wyatt continues, saying that he will take his rightful place “among the gods” and, after WrestleMania, “no one will be safe”, telling everyone to “behold the new face of fear”. After alienating everyone in The Authority, including Triple H & Stephanie McMahon, throughout the night, it was time for the main event as “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Seth Rollins would seemingly have to go it alone against his WrestleMania opponent “The Viper” Randy Orton in a one-on-one match. Before the match begins, Seth Rollins comes out to the stage alone, saying that it took Randy Orton three weeks to make every member of The Authority look like “fools”, but it has only taken Rollins three hours to make a “fool” out of Randy Orton! With this, Seth Rollins reveals his master plan as Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Kane, Big Show, and J&J Security all join “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” on the stage, revealing that the whole scheme was masterminded by Rollins. Realizing that he’s in for an uneven battle, Randy Orton quickly grabs a steel chair, readying himself for a war with The Authority as what was originally scheduled to be a one-on-one match was now a fight for survival. The Authority comes down to ringside as, with Triple H & Stephanie McMahon watching, Seth Rollins, Kane, Big Show, and J&J Security surround the ring. The Authority then slowly gets on the apron, but as soon as the five men enter the ring, the lights go out and the unmistakable caw of a crow is heard. Then, when the lights come back on, Sting stands next to Randy Orton in the ring with a baseball bat in hand! Together, Sting & Randy Orton would use their respective weapons to lay waste to The Authority with Sting tossing his jacket at Triple H and delivering the Stinger Splash to both members of J&J Security! Sting then looks right into the eyes of a livid Triple H as “The Vigilante” drops Jamie Noble with the Scorpion Deathdrop before Randy Orton follows this up with an RKO to Joey Mercury! In an unreal moment, Sting & Randy Orton then stand tall in the ring together, having dispatched The Authority and sent a strong message to their respective WrestleMania opponents.
