    110714 Wwe Hulk Hogan 2

    Detailed Results

With Christmas just a few days away, RAW kicks off with a special appearance from WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan as the legend gets in the spirit, coming to the ring dressed as Ho Ho Hogan. Hogan says that he is there to spread holiday cheer all over RAW and he is going to be giving out presents to all the WWE Superstars and fans, announcing that tonight’s RAW will feature Roman Reigns colliding with “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show and, in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight, Dean Ambrose will face Bray Wyatt! Ho Ho Hogan is then greeted by the arrival of the #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble, John Cena, who says that if there is one man who is as “iconic” as Santa Claus, it is Ho Ho Hogan. Cena then says that he thinks that he has been a “good boy” this year and, after a Seth Rollins-orchestrated assault by Brock Lesnar that led to Seth Rollins defeating him in a Steel Cage Match last week, his “Christmas wish” is a match against Seth Rollins tonight!

Before Ho Ho Hogan could make his decision regarding the match, “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Seth Rollins comes out to the stage with J&J Security in tow. Rollins says that no one wants to hear John Cena’s “stupid voice” anymore, saying that he is not out there to “disrespect” either Cena or Hogan, calling both men “legends”, but saying that his time is “now”. Rollins continues, saying that it is his “business” and, if Cena wants to exist in the “Seth Rollins era”, then that is something that Cena will have to accept. Rollins then says that the real “indictment” of RAW is that Ho Ho Hogan is running RAW when it should be The Authority, calling Ho Ho Hogan a “farce”. Rollins continues, saying that Triple H & Stephanie McMahon “deserve” to be there celebrating all that they have accomplished in 2014, but instead they are sitting at home having to watch people like Ho Ho Hogan run RAW into the “toilet”. Rollins then says that Cena is “lucky” that he “let” Cena get up and walk out of the ring on his own two feet last week.

Seth Rollins then says that, if Ho Ho Hogan does not give him his Christmas present, then Hogan might not be so “lucky” before saying that what everyone in WWE deserves is for Hogan to force John Cena into bringing The Authority back! John Cena says that, in 2014, Seth Rollins mastered the art of becoming a “complete scumbag” before offering Seth Rollins the gift of a couple of neon green shoes up his ass! Cena then declares that it does not matter whether Rollins comes down there and takes the beating he deserves or if he turns tail and runs like a “coward”, he will not bring The Authority back. Ho Ho Hogan then says that, since John Cena is not going to bring The Authority back, then he is going to give the fans an “alternative” as John Cena will go one-on-one with Seth Rollins and that match will happen next!

In a Christmas gift to the fans from Ho Ho Hogan, the opening match of the night would see the #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble, John Cena, face “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Seth Rollins, with J&J Security in his corner. As has become a regular occurrence in Seth Rollins’ matches, J&J Security would frequently get involved in the match and John Cena would deal with the security team during the match, launching Seth Rollins over the top rope, taking out both Jamie Noble & Joey Mercury. Towards the end of a back-and-forth match, John Cena would have Seth Rollins beat after locking in the STF, but J&J Security would again get involved. Cena would respond by letting Rollins out of the STF before cornering both members of J&J Security, lifting Noble & Mercury up and delivering a double Attitude Adjustment! Rollins then charges at Cena with the Money-in-the-Bank briefcase, but Cena ducks out of the way before planting Seth Rollins with the Attitude Adjustment, pinning “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” to pick up a definitive win and picking up major momentum for his WWE World Heavyweight Title match against Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble.

“The Real American” was in action on RAW as Jack Swagger would go one-on-one with the “new and improved” Fandango, with Rosa Mendes in his corner. In the end, it was Fandango picking up a big win as the dancing Superstar delivers a trio of kicks to the head of Jack Swagger before hitting his signature leg drop off of the top rope, pinning Swagger for the win.

With The Bunny, still recovering from back-to-back attacks from Kane last week, in his corner, Adam Rose would go one-on-one with R-Truth on RAW. In the end, it was R-Truth using a playful dance-off to catch Rose off-guard, surprising Rose with a roll-up to pick up the win. After the match, The Bunny would attempt to console Adam Rose, but the leader of The Exotic Express would take his frustrations out on The Bunny, dropping the mascot with a spinebuster. Adam Rose then pummels The Bunny with right hands before taking The Bunny to the outside, driving The Bunny’s head into the steel steps. Rose then tosses The Bunny into the ringside barricade, shoving another member of The Exotic Express as he storms to the back.

After twice making an impact at the expense of Big Show last week, Roman Reigns would face his first major challenge since returning at WWE TLC as the powerhouse would collide with “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show on RAW. During the match, the hard-hitting match would spill to the outside where Roman Reigns would blast Big Show with the Superman Punch, sending “The World’s Largest Athlete” careening over the announce table! Roman then rolls back into the ring and, a few seconds later, the referee reaches his ten-count and Roman picks up the win by count-out, enraging and embarrassing Big Show.

With her sister and Divas Champion Nikki Bella in her corner, Brie Bella would go one-on-one with Natalya, with Tyson Kidd in her corner. In the end, it was Natalya countering a roll-up attempt by Brie Bella into a roll-up of her own, scoring the win. After the match, Nikki Bella would try to enter the ring, but Natalya would quickly knock the Divas Champion off of the ring apron before holding the Divas Title belt above her head, making her intentions clear.

In a bizarre 3-on-2 Handicap Match, RAW would see Gold & Stardust face Los Matadores & El Torito, portraying the Christmassy El Redo. During the match, Goldust would catch El Torito in mid-air, but would inadvertently swing El Redo right into Stardust. This would allow Los Matadores & El Redo to take advantage as one of the Los Matadores hits the Back Stabber on Goldust and El Redo follows it up with a springboard moonsault off of the second rope, pinning Goldust to pick up a major upset for himself and Los Matadores.

After a vicious Ladder Match for the ages at WWE TLC, the bizarre and unpredictable former Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper would invoke his rematch clause to challenge the man who defeated him for the title, Dolph Ziggler, for the Intercontinental Championship on RAW! However, Luke Harper would not even wait for the match to officially get underway as Harper levels Dolph Ziggler with a big boot during the introductions for the match. With his sights set on destroying the Intercontinental Champion, Luke Harper dives to the outside, taking Dolph out. Dolph tries to fight back, but Harper catches Ziggler with a tilt-a-whirl side slam on the arena floor! Harper then rolls Dolph back into the ring and the referee struggles to keep Luke Harper back as he checks on Dolph Ziggler.

Never one to back down, Dolph Ziggler insists that the match get underway and the referee reluctantly rings the bell and Harper goes back to methodically wearing Ziggler down. Dolph would repeatedly try to come back in the match, but Harper would continue to dominate the Intercontinental Champion, coming closer to the gold with every pinfall attempt. With the title seemingly in his grasp, Luke Harper would set Dolph Ziggler up for the Discus Clothesline, but Dolph would counter with a super kick that would not appear to even faze Harper, who delivers the Discus Clothesline anyways! However, Dolph continues to survive, kicking out of the pinfall attempt as the incredible match continues. Despite all of the punishment throughout the match, Dolph Ziggler would still manage to hit a devastating trio of maneuvers to finally put Luke Harper down as Dolph blasts Harper with two super kicks, following it up with the Zig Zag, pinning Harper to win a hard-fought match to successfully retain the Intercontinental Championship. After the match, Jerry “The King” Lawler would conduct an in-ring interview with Dolph Ziggler as the Intercontinental Champion says that he has a found a way to “scratch and claw” his way to success in WWE and he will be damned if anyone takes the Intercontinental Title away from him.

RAW would feature a special appearance as the fans would be treated to a pre-Christmas treat as WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper would host the infamous Piper’s Pit and his special guests would be United States Champion Rusev & Lana. After making his way to the ring to a rowdy response from the fans, Piper says that it is the time of year of a “rowdy holiday time”. The Hall of Famer then says that his guests actually requested they be on the show so they could deliver a “special Christmas message for all Americans”, introducing Lana and the United States Champion, Rusev, who joins Piper in the ring. Ignoring Piper, Lana says that Christmas in America is a “joke”, saying that Americans pretend to be “good people” and they actually believe that a “bloated” man delivers presents to their “spoiled children”. This is where Piper speaks up, saying that this is America, the land of the free, and they believe whatever they want to believe. Lana then tells Piper to “believe” in this, showing Rusev’s vicious attack on Ryback on last week’s Super SmackDown LIVE. Rusev then asks Piper if he can believe that he can “crush” Ryback and if Piper believes that Rusev can “crush” him. Piper says that there is no need for them to become a couple of “communist scrooges”, saying that he went out and got a “Christmas gift” for Rusev & Lana and he even put a “bow” on it! Sure enough, this would bring a bow-wearing Ryback out as “The Big Guy” meets Rusev at ringside, knocking the United States Champion down. Ryback then muscles Rusev into the ringside barricade, but when Ryback rolls Rusev into the ring, Rusev briefly battles back. However, Ryback would snuff out the comeback and Ryback would nearly take Rusev out with the Meat Hook Clothesline, but the United States Champion is narrowly able to escape the ring as Ryback stands tall with Roddy Piper.

The Divas would be in the holiday spirit for RAW as, in a Santa’s Helper 6-Diva Tag Match, Naomi would team with Emma and Alicia Fox to face the team of Cameron, Summer Rae, & Paige. In the end, it was Alicia Fox hitting a unique leg hook facebuster on Cameron, pinning Cameron to pick up the win for her team.

One-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions were in action on RAW as The Miz, with Damien Mizdow in his corner, would go one-on-one with Jey Uso, with Jimmy Uso in his corner. In the end, it was The Miz rolling up Jey Uso, hooking the tights to steal a win.

Then it was time for a haunting main event with a holiday theme as “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose would collide with “The Eater of Worlds” Bray Wyatt in a Miracle on 34th Street Fight, where Christmas-themed weaponry would surround the ring for both combatants to use with no disqualifications and no count-outs. It would not take long for the two unbalanced Superstars to take the fight to the outside as Dean Ambrose would take Bray Wyatt to the outside of the ring, tossing Bray into a Christmas tree before suplexing the tree on Bray! Ambrose then tosses Bray into another fully decorated tree before opening one of the many presents at ringside only to find a TV and, remembering how that backfired at WWE TLC, Ambrose opted to leave the TV alone. Ambrose would then pull a table out from under the ring with a big bow on it, but this is when Bray would get back in the match, rolling “The Lunatic Fringe” back into the ring before putting the table back under the ring. Ambrose would then take a running dive to the outside, sending Bray crashing through a wall of Christmas presents. Bray Wyatt then narrowly avoids going through a table before the fight spills to the staging area, where Ambrose finds a gift-wrapped steel chair. However, when Ambrose charges at Bray with the chair, Wyatt dodges the shot, tossing Ambrose off of the stage through a table!

After some time fighting for control in the ring, Bray Wyatt brings Dean Ambrose back to ringside, where he tosses Ambrose into a Christmas tree, picking Ambrose back up and putting him into another tree. Bray then tosses some steel chairs into the ring before getting his hands on a candy kendo stick, wearing Ambrose out with the stick before wedging the stick into the top turnbuckle, making the stick protrude from the corner of the ring, but neither man is able to send the other into the stick. Ambrose then gets his own kendo stick, wearing Bray out with the weapon. Ambrose then places a steel chair on the chest of Bray Wyatt before diving off of the top rope with another chair, driving it into Bray. Ambrose then grabs a ladder from under the ring, propping it up in the corner, but this is when Bray Wyatt would spot his opportunity as Bray slams Ambrose down onto the ladder! Wyatt then tries to hit Sister Abigail, but Ambrose fights out of it, sending Wyatt into the ladder before leaping off of the ladder, taking Bray Wyatt down. “The Lunatic Fringe” then climbs the ladder with a steel chair in hand, but Bray Wyatt is quick to pop up and hurl a ladder at Ambrose, knocking Ambrose down. Wyatt then sends Ambrose face-first into the kendo stick in the corner, keeping Ambrose down for the three-count to pick up the win. After the match, Bray Wyatt would turn his attention back to Dean Ambrose at ringside, but the crafty Dean Ambrose sprays a fire extinguisher in Wyatt’s face. Ambrose is then able to roll Bray onto the table at ringside, climbing to the top rope and putting Bray through the table with an elbow drop, leaving both men in a heap among the destroyed table!
