The fifth annual WWE Money-in-the-Bank will come to you, live on pay-per-view and the WWE Network, on June 29 from the TD Garden in Boston, MA. As announced on RAW, if Daniel Bryan is cleared to compete at Money-in-the-Bank, then he will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Title against Kane in a Stretcher Match. However, if Daniel Bryan is unable to compete, then the annual Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match will be for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Here is the updated card:
- WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Stretcher Match: Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Kane
- Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match: Alberto Del Rio vs. ??? vs. ??? vs. ??? vs. ??? vs. ??? vs. ???
In a Stretcher Match, there are no pinfalls, no submissions, no count-outs, and no disqualifications. The only way to win is to load your opponent onto a stretcher and push him past the “finish line” that will be marked on the staging area.
If Daniel Bryan is able to defend the title against Kane, then the Money-in-the-Bank Ladder Match will be for the Money-in-the-Bank briefcase. In the match, the first man to successfully retrieve the Money-in-the-Bank briefcase that is hanging high above the ring will win the match and earn himself a guaranteed shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at any time he sees fit for the next twelve months.
