    WWE Raw

Wwe 07042014 Batista Kane Randy Orton Triple H Shield Daniel Bryan

    Bad Night for the Hounds.

One night after a memorable Extreme Rules, the 1093rd edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the Times Union Center in Albany, NY. Despite going into his first pay-per-view defense of the WWE World Heavyweight Title at less than 100%, Daniel Bryan would manage to survive everything that Kane threw at him, from steel chairs to a flaming table, Bryan would refuse to quit and after sending “The Devil’s Favorite Demon” through a burning table, the determined champion would quickly capitalize with a running knee to Kane’s face to pick up the three-count and retain the title in an unforgettable Extreme Rules Match. However, Kane let Daniel Bryan know after the match that the war between them is far from over, so what is next for Daniel Bryan? Will Kane get another shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Champion or will a new challenger emerge?

In a wild 6-Man Tag Match between The Shield and Evolution at Extreme Rules, it was Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns who would get the better of Triple H, Batista, & Randy Orton as Roman Reigns would deliver a Spear to Batista, pinning “The Animal” for the win while their respective partners brawled in the crowd. WWE COO Triple H is apparently not done in his quest to destroy The Shield as Triple H has announced that The Shield’s Dean Ambrose will defend his United States Championship in a 20-Man Battle Royal to kick off RAW! Can Dean Ambrose find some way to outlast 19 other Superstars to continue his historic reign as the United States Champion?

After weeks of vignettes promoting his debut, “The Exotic Express” would finally pull into Monday Night RAW as the partying, fun-loving Adam Rose would appear on RAW for the first time ever. What will “The Exotic Express” have in store for RAW?

    Detailed Results

As announced by WWE COO Triple H earlier in the day, RAW would kick off with a 20-Man Battle Royal for the United States Championship as The Shield’s Dean Ambrose would be forced to defend his title against 19 other Superstars! With Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns by his side, Dean Ambrose makes his entrance first before Goldust, Cody Rhodes, Mark Henry, Titus O’Neil, Damien Sandow, Xavier Woods, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Sin Cara, Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler, Heath Slater, Jack Swagger, Fandango, Ryback, Curtis Axel, Santino Marella, Sheamus, & “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show join Dean Ambrose in the ring. The first man to go was Xavier Woods as Big Show tosses the young upstart over the top rope. Mark Henry then tosses Zack Ryder out of the ring before throwing R-Truth out as well. Big Show then eliminates Titus O’Neil before tossing Sin Cara out of the ring on top of Zack Ryder, R-Truth, & Titus O’Neil. Sheamus then look to Damien Sandow and Heath Slater would try to get the jump on “The Celtic Warrior”, but Sheamus would move out of the way and Slater would knock Sandow off of the apron to the outside, but Heath Slater was eliminated shortly after this.

It would then take ten of the thirteen men left in the match to hoist Big Show over the top rope, effectively eliminating the biggest threat in the match! After successfully eliminating “The World’s Largest Athlete”, the rest of the Superstars left in the match would work together to eliminate the other huge threat in the match, Mark Henry! With eleven men left, Dean Ambrose would eliminate Fandango before Ambrose would take the opportunity to knock a prone Kofi Kingston off of the apron to eliminate Kofi. Cody Rhodes would then inadvertently eliminate his brother, Goldust, as Rhodes knocks Ryback into Goldust, sending Goldust over the top rope. The shock of accidentally eliminating his brother would distract Cody Rhodes long enough for Ryback & Curtis Axel to eliminate Rhodes from the match. Santino then eliminates Dolph Ziggler before Curtis Axel eliminates Santino from the match. With five men left in the match, tag team partners Ryback & Curtis Axel would work together to essentially take over the battle royal, keeping the other three men down. Rybaxel then tries to eliminate Dean Ambrose from the match, but Ambrose would eliminate Curtis Axel before finding himself in a brawl with Ryback on the ring apron before a well-placed dropkick to the knee would send Ryback to the floor! Ambrose would follow this up by eliminating Jack Swagger, leaving Ambrose all alone with Sheamus. Sheamus would catch Ambrose with the Brogue Kick before “The Celtic Warrior” tosses Dean Ambrose over the top rope to the outside, ending Ambrose’s 351-day reign to become the new United States Champion!

After just losing the United States Title, The Shield would be confronted by the last man they wanted to see at that moment, WWE COO Triple H. Triple H says that, at Extreme Rules, The Shield was “extremely lucky” to beat Evolution. The COO then informs The Shield that they will face The Wyatt Family in 6-Man Tag action later tonight, saying that The Shield’s “luck” is about to change.

Backstage, Stephanie McMahon confronts WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella, saying that all Bryan did was “anger” Kane. Stephanie then says that the only way that she can guarantee the champion’s “safety” is if he stays in the back until his match later tonight. Stephanie then leaves as Brie points out a replica of Kane’s mask hanging on the door.

One night after he was defeated by Cesaro following the Neutralizer on a metal trash can in a Triple Threat Elimination Match that also included Jack Swagger at Extreme Rules, “Mr. Monday Night” Rob Van Dam would go one-on-one with “The King of Extreme” Cesaro, with Paul Heyman in his corner. After finding himself unable to put Rob Van Dam away, Cesaro would lose his cool and, after RVD gets himself hung up on the top rope, Cesaro would repeatedly punch RVD straight in the head with right hands, ignoring the referee’s five-count. With the match over via disqualification, Cesaro would blast RVD with a kick to the head before hammering RVD with more right hands. Finally, Paul Heyman pulls his guy off of RVD as WWE’s ringside physician comes into the ring to check on Van Dam.

After the appearance of “Little Johnny”, a child with a demonic voice, stopped John Cena in his tracks at Extreme Rules, allowing Bray Wyatt to win the Steel Cage Match, The Wyatt Family would appear on RAW. Bray Wyatt says that people would refer to him as a “nobody” and today is a “glorious day” because, at Extreme Rules, he became “somebody”. Bray continues, saying that Cena’s fear was “personified” by the singing of a small child, saying that you can’t “fool” children. Bray then says that the “innocent eyes” of children see right through John Cena. Bray says that he is a “monster” and Cena would have them believe that he only wishes to “watch the world burn”, saying that he does wish to see the world burn so that the world can be reborn in the Wyatt image. Bray continues, saying that he does it for the children, he does it for the “poor man that stands day and night, begging on the side of the street” because they didn’t think he was “smart enough” to make a living. Bray then says that he does what he does for each and every one of them, saying that John Cena stands “alone” and, alone, he will fall. Bray says that the children should stand with him and they will realize that he is not a “monster”, he is a “god”! Bray then kneels down in the middle of the ring, leading the crowd in singing “He’s Got the Whole World in his Hands”.

After failing to find success in the 20-Man Battle Royal for the United States Title earlier in the night, Cody Rhodes, with Goldust in his corner, would go one-on-one with Ryback, with Curtis Axel in his corner. During the match, Curtis Axel would try to knock Cody Rhodes off of the top rope, but Goldust would intervene and Curtis Axel would shove Goldust into the ring post, making Rhodes lose his balance. Ryback then grabs Cody Rhodes, delivering Shell Shocked en route to picking up the win.

Backstage, a frightened and paranoid Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella are in the room Stephanie advised them to stay in, but the lights would go out in the room and a candle would light up Kane’s mask. The couple then flees the room, running into Stephanie McMahon in the hallway and Stephanie offers to get a car so Daniel & Brie can get out of the arena.

Fresh off of his victory over R-Truth & Xavier Woods in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match at Extreme Rules, Rusev was in action on RAW as “The Super Athlete”, with Lana in his corner, would go one-on-one with Kofi Kingston. In the end, it was Rusev locking in the Accolade on Kofi Kingston, forcing Kofi to tap out to pick up another impressive win.

Backstage, a cautious Daniel Bryan walks Brie Bella to their car and, after Brie gets in, Daniel carefully looks around before getting in the driver’s side. The couple is more than ready to drive out of the arena when a tap on Brie’s window makes Brie jump, but it is just Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie tells Daniel Bryan that they are not allowed to leave until after Daniel Bryan’s scheduled match and, if Daniel does not compete, then she will consider it a “breach of contract” and Bryan will be stripped of the WWE World Heavyweight Title! With no other choice, Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella get out of the car.

After being kept from leaving the arena by Stephanie McMahon, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, with Brie Bella in his corner, would go one-on-one with Alberto Del Rio in a non-title match. At the end of an intense match, it was Daniel Bryan locking in the Yes Lock on Alberto Del Rio, forcing Del Rio to tap out to pick up the win. After the match, the celebration was cut short with the eruption of pyro on the corners of the ring and the couple would not wait around for Kane to show up as Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella quickly rush out of the ring and to their waiting car in the parking lot. However, the car would not start, so Bryan pops the hood to try and figure out the problem and, after discovering that a wire had been unplugged, the champion connects the wire and shuts the hood. When Bryan shuts the hood, he sets his sights on a horrific scene as Kane is in the backseat of the car! Bryan screams at his unsuspecting wife to get out of the car and Brie struggles to fight Kane off. Daniel Bryan quickly comes to the aid of his wife, pulling Kane out of the car. However, Kane would catch Daniel Bryan with an uppercut, tossing Bryan on the top of the car, but Daniel Bryan would quickly roll off of the car, hopping into the driver’s seat and pulling forward in the car as Kane slips off the back of the car onto the concrete floor. The champion then stops the car and gets out, cautiously approaching Kane, who is lying motionless on the concrete. Kane then sits up and Daniel Bryan quickly jumps in the car and drives away, narrowly escaping “The Devil’s Favorite Demon”.

One night after losing the Intercontinental Title to Bad News Barrett at Extreme Rules, Big E would look to regain the gold as he challenges new champion Bad News Barrett for the Intercontinental Championship on RAW. In the end, it was a well-placed rake to the eye followed up by the Bull Hammer Elbow that would spell victory for Bad News Barrett as Barrett pins Big E to successfully retain the Intercontinental Title.

Jack Swagger & Zeb Colter would make an appearance on RAW as Zeb Colter says that Americans only celebrate Cinco De Mayo so they can get “dog drunk”. Colter then presents his “deportation list”, a list that includes Cesaro, Paul Heyman, Sheamus, Paige, Emma, & Santino Marella. Colter says that Emma is “poisoning” the minds of American children with her dancing. Zeb continues, saying that Sheamus and Paige should be deported for not letting the sun hit their skin since 1997. Zeb Colter’s rant is then interrupted by the strange debut of Adam Rose. With an entourage of men and women wearing clown wigs, sombreros, cowboy hats, an Elvis outfit, and a bunny suit, the lollipop-sucking South African native would dance his way down to the ring with his “rosebuds”, who lift him up to the apron. Once he’s in the ring, Rose prances around Colter & Swagger before staring at a very confused Zeb Colter. Rose then grabs Zeb’s mustache, telling Colter not to be a “lemon”, be a “rosebud”. Zeb then sends Swagger after Adam Rose, but Rose kicks Swagger in the mid-section before tossing him over the top rope. Rose then brings in his “rosebuds”, leading a train of dancing around Zeb Colter, who takes the first opportunity to escape the party in the ring.

Then it was time for the main event as, per the orders of WWE COO Triple H, The Shield would face The Wyatt Family as Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns would square off with Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, & Erick Rowan in a 6-Man Tag Match. In a chaotic match that spilled in and out of the ring, The Shield would isolate Bray Wyatt in the ring, but that is when Evolution would come out looking for a fight. As Triple H, Batista, & Randy Orton made their way toward the ring, Luke Harper & Erick Rowan would try to get the jump on The Shield, but The Shield would toss Harper & Rowan to the outside before Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins would take to the air, diving to the outside to take out Harper & Rowan, as well as Orton & Batista! Back in the ring, Roman Reigns blasts Triple H with the Superman Punch, but The Shield’s preoccupation with Evolution would work to the favor of The Wyatt Family as Bray Wyatt launches himself at Roman Reigns before hitting the Sister Abigail and pinning Reigns to pick up the win for The Wyatt Family! After The Wyatt Family exits, Evolution would pick their time to strike as Triple H, Batista, & Randy Orton assault Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns. After Batista sends Dean Ambrose into the ring steps on the outside, Randy Orton puts Seth Rollins on the top rope, planting Rollins with a suspended DDT. On the outside of the ring, Batista plants Dean Ambrose with a spinebuster on the steel steps. Back in the ring, Triple H sets Roman Reigns up for the Pedigree, but Reigns manages to power out. However, that is as far as Reigns would get as Orton quickly strikes Reigns down with the RKO. Triple H then picks Reigns back up, drilling Reigns with the Pedigree before, in an act of mockery, Evolution picks up Roman Reigns and delivers The Shield’s signature three-man powerbomb! Evolution then stands over the broken remnants of The Shield, letting The Shield know that the war is not over.
