    WWE Raw

Wwe Sheamus The Shield Dean Ambrose Boot Moves 120513

    Pure Chaos.

Six nights before WWE Elimination Chamber, the 1082nd edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. After crushing losses to John Cena and Cesaro last week, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton would be looking to pick up some last minute momentum as he faces his final Elimination Chamber challenger, “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus, in a non-title match. Can “The Viper” re-assert himself as a viable threat inside the Elimination Chamber?

    Match Results

    • Daniel Bryan def. Christian by roll-up.
    • Daniel Bryan def. Kane by DQ after Kane ignores the referee’s five-count.
    • Fandango (with Summer Rae) def. Santino Marella (with Emma) by pin following a sitout suplex.
    • Roman Reigns def. Mark Henry by pin following the Spear.
    • Jack Swagger def. Kofi Kingston by submission to the Patriot Lock.
    • 2-on-1 Tornado Handicap Match: Big E def. Jinder Mahal & Drew McIntyre by pinning Drew McIntyre following the Big Ending.
    • John Cena def. Cesaro by pin following the Attitude Adjustment.
    • 6-Man Tag: The Wyatt Family def. Sin Cara & Los Matadores (with El Torito) by Bray Wyatt pinning Sin Cara following the Sister Abigail.
    • Jey Uso def. Billy Gunn by roll-up.
    • Non-Title: Sheamus def. Randy Orton by DQ after The Shield interferes.

    Detailed Results

Before he joins Sheamus, Christian, Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton inside the Elimination Chamber this Sunday night, RAW kicks off with the man who pinned the champion last week, John Cena. Cena says that, in six nights, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will be determined inside the Elimination Chamber. Cena says that he believes that nothing is gained without “sacrifice” and the sacrifice is worth it to earn a guaranteed main event spot against Batista at WrestleMania. Cena continues, saying that the only man who has no momentum is the defending champion Randy Orton, saying that, over the last couple of weeks, Orton has lost to Daniel Bryan and himself. However, Cena forgets one man who also pinned Orton and they would not let this stand as Cesaro makes his way to the ring with Zeb Colter in tow, saying that he also pinned the champion. Cesaro then vows that he is not only going to be the “face of the WWE”, he is going to be the “face of America”. Cena then gets in the face of Cesaro, saying that Cesaro has never been in an Elimination Chamber Match, so he should be careful what he has to say. Sheamus then interrupts, saying that he has been in two Elimination Chamber Matches, vowing that both of their faces are going to look pretty funny this Sunday when he kicks their teeth in. Christian then comes out, saying that it will be no “accident” this Sunday when he plants Sheamus with the Killswitch.

The WWE World Heavyweight Champion himself, Randy Orton, then comes out, saying that he would like to “thank” The Authority for giving him the opportunity to beat all of them inside the Elimination Chamber. Orton admits that he underestimated Cesaro on SmackDown and he lost to John Cena last week, but Cena can never beat him when it counts. Orton continues, saying that he and Christian have been in the some of the greatest matches of his career, but he still beat Christian in every one of them. Orton then says that, tonight, Sheamus’ Brogue Kick is going to get nowhere near his face. This brings out the last piece of the puzzle as Daniel Bryan makes his way to the ring, which brings the crowd to their feet. Amidst the “yes” chants, Daniel Bryan says that the crowd does his talking for him, saying that he has worked too hard to let the opportunity to main event WrestleMania pass him by. Bryan then vows that no one is going to be talking about any of them as the fans will only be chanting one word, leading the crowd in a “yes” chant. The Director of Operations, Kane, then comes out and, among chants of “you sold out”, Kane says that The Authority has given him the chance to rectify certain mistakes he has made recently by leaving him in charge of RAW! Kane says that, to keep things fair, he is going to have all of them compete here tonight, announcing that, in addition to Randy Orton facing Sheamus, John Cena will face Cesaro and the opening match of the night will see Daniel Bryan squaring off with Christian and he will be at ringside to enjoy that match! Following this announcement, Daniel Bryan is ready to fight Kane, but Christian ambushes Daniel Bryan, tossing Bryan to the outside. Christian then tosses Bryan into the barricade before sending Bryan shoulder-first into the steel ring steps, all while Kane stands by, doing nothing to stop the attack.

Per the orders of the Director of Operations, Kane, the opening match of the night would see Daniel Bryan going one-on-one with Christian six nights before they are two of the six competitors inside the Elimination Chamber. Despite having his shoulder worked over for most of the match, Daniel Bryan would surprise Christian with a roll-up, scoring the three-count to pick up the win. After the match, Kane “congratulates” Daniel Bryan on his victory, but says that he “failed to mention” that Bryan has one more match tonight and it will be against the Director of Operations himself!

Moments after surviving a grueling match against Christian, Daniel Bryan would find himself in an impromptu match with the Director of Operations, Kane! Throughout the match, Kane would pick up where Christian left off, mercilessly targeting the left shoulder of Daniel Bryan. Kane’s intentions would be clear once Kane tosses Daniel Bryan to the outside as the Director of Operations sits Daniel Bryan against the steel ring post, pulling Daniel Bryan’s arm back with all his strength. The referee makes his five-count and Kane is disqualified, but the assault continues as Kane pins the left arm of Daniel Bryan between the steel steps and the steel ring post, smashing Bryan’s arm in the steel! With a smile on his face, Kane then says “I know, I’m disqualified” before Kane heads to the back, proud of his actions.

After getting involved in Fandango & Summer Rae’s business the past couple weeks, Santino Marella, with Emma in his corner, would face Fandango, with Summer Rae in his corner, on RAW. During the match, Summer Rae would try and distract Santino, but Emma would get involved, using an Airplane Spin to take Summer Rae out. This leads to a romantic face-off between Santino and Emma. This allows Fandango to take advantage, hitting the sitout suplex on Santino, pinning Santino for the win.

After Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns cost him his United States Championship match against Dean Ambrose last week, “The World’s Strongest Man” would go one-on-one with the man who speared him last week as Mark Henry faces Roman Reigns, with Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins in his corner, on RAW. Roman Reigns would impress in the match, managing to hit a Samoan Drop on Mark Henry. Shortly after this, Roman Reigns hits the Spear on Mark Henry, holding the super heavyweight down for the three-count. After the match, a jealous Dean Ambrose would lead his own attack on Mark Henry, attempting to take his frustrations out on Mark Henry. The Wyatt Family then appears on the Tron as Bray Wyatt asks The Shield if all of this was “really worth it” with Luke Harper asking if The Shield is willing to “die” for this. Bray then adds that, if they’re not, then they have “already lost”. Tired of The Wyatt Family’s mind games, Roman Reigns dares The Wyatt Family to come out there and say that to their faces. Bray says that they were thinking the exact same thing!

Moments later, The Wyatt Family comes out and makes their way to the ring to square off with The Shield. With The Shield waiting in the ring, The Wyatt Family gets on the ring apron. Bray Wyatt steps in the ring and Roman Reigns steps forward before Luke Harper & Erick Rowan join their leader, but with The Shield ready to fight, The Wyatt Family backs down as Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, & Erick Rowan again retreat from a fight with The Shield.

Six nights before he challenges Big E for the Intercontinental Title at WWE Elimination Chamber, Jack Swagger, with Zeb Colter in his corner, would go one-on-one with Kofi Kingston. During the match, Kofi Kingston would hit the S.O.S. on Jack Swagger, but the crafty Swagger would get his foot on the bottom rope just in time. A little later on, Jack Swagger would lock in the Patriot Lock on Kofi Kingston, forcing Kofi to tap out to pick up the win. After the match, Intercontinental Champion Big E would come out to confront his challenger, but Swagger would hop out of the ring, avoiding the confrontation.

With Jack Swagger & Zeb Colter at ringside, the Intercontinental Champion was in action on RAW as Big E would face Jinder Mahal & Drew McIntyre in a 2-on-1 Tornado Handicap Match. Despite Zeb Colter’s best efforts to throw Big E off with his trash talking, Big E would plant both Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre with the Big Ending, pinning McIntyre to pick up the win.

As both men prepare to enter the Elimination Chamber this Sunday, RAW would see John Cena go one-on-one with Cesaro, with Zeb Colter & Jack Swagger in his corner. Despite Cesaro tossing John Cena from pillar-to-post and taking Cena beyond his limits, Cena would finally hit the Attitude Adjustment, pinning Cesaro for the hard-fought win.

Backstage, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton confronts WWE COO Triple H, saying that he “appreciates” everything that The Authority has done for him. Triple H says that he is glad to see that Orton is “trying” and Orton says that he appreciates everything that the COO has done for him and he appreciates everything that Triple H will do for him in the “future”. Orton continues, saying that Batista is good and all, but he cannot imagine Batista as the “face of the WWE”, saying that he and Triple H “carried” Batista through their Evolution days. However, Orton turns around and finds himself face-to-face with Batista, who tells the champion that he is not the “face of the WWE”, he is the “ass”! After Orton exits, Alberto Del Rio confronts “The Animal”, saying that he hopes that Batista is not planning on using his arms come WrestleMania because he is going to “rip them off” this Sunday. Batista responds the best way he knows how, with physicality, as Batista shoves Del Rio into a shelf. This draws a disapproving glance from Triple H, but Batista just walks away from his former teammate.

Before they face The Shield at WWE Elimination Chamber, The Wyatt Family was in action on RAW as Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, & Erick Rowan faced Sin Cara & Los Matadores, with El Torito in their corner, in a 6-Man Tag match. In the end, it was Bray Wyatt putting Sin Cara down with the Sister Abigail, pinning Sin Cara to pick up the win for The Wyatt Family.

Before The Usos challenge The New Age Outlaws for the WWE Tag Team Titles this Sunday at WWE Elimination Chamber, Jey Uso would go one-on-one with one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Billy Gunn, with Jimmy Uso and Road Dogg guests on commentary. In the end, it was Jey Uso surprising Billy Gunn with a roll-up, scoring the win over the veteran. After the match, Road Dogg would try to ambush Jimmy Uso, but Jimmy would blast Road Dogg with a super kick. Jimmy would then take both tag champions out with a dive to the outside, sending a clear message to The New Age Outlaws.

Then it was time for the main event as, six nights before he defends the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against John Cena, Sheamus, Christian, Cesaro, & Daniel Bryan inside the Elimination Chamber, Randy Orton would go one-on-one with “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus in a non-title match. Early on in the match, the fight would spill to the outside of the ring where Randy Orton would sucker Sheamus in, waiting for Sheamus to get close enough before the champion lifts “The Celtic Warrior” up, putting Sheamus through the announce table with a backdrop! Despite this, Sheamus would manage to beat the ten-count, keeping the match going. Later on, Sheamus was ready to put Randy Orton away with the Brogue Kick, but The Shield would inexplicably attack Sheamus, ending the match in a disqualification. After the match, John Cena and Daniel Bryan join the fray, followed by Cesaro and Christian. The Wyatt Family then appears in the ring, face-to-face with The Shield and, finally, the two trios collide! The brawl between The Shield and The Wyatt Family then blends with the battle between Elimination Chamber participants, resulting in a massive eleven-man brawl with only Randy Orton absent from the fight!
