WWE Royal Rumble 2014 Results

“Deal With It.”

The Road to WrestleMania begins with the Royal Rumble and the 27th annual WWE Royal Rumble came to you, live on pay-per-view, from the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, PA. For the 21st year in a row, 30 men would wage war inside the squared circle for a guaranteed main event title shot at WrestleMania as the annual 30-Man Royal Rumble Match would decide one-half of the WrestleMania main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Among those 30 Superstars, 20 have been officially confirmed as “The Animal” Batista will return, dead set on fighting his way back into the WrestleMania spotlight, as well as Rey Mysterio, Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, Kofi Kingston, Intercontinental Champion Big E. Langston, Goldust, Cody Rhodes, Fandango, R-Truth, Xavier Woods, United States Champion Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Damien Sandow. However, one man who is at a severe disadvantage is “The Best in the World” CM Punk, who, as decreed by Director of Operations Kane, Punk will be forced to enter the 30-Man fray at #1, an entry number that has only produced two Rumble winners in the past! Who will punch their ticket to a main event title shot at WrestleMania XXX in the Royal Rumble Match?

While the Royal Rumble Match will determine the #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania, there is no certainty when it comes to who will be the champion on April 6 in New Orleans as the biggest rematch in WWE history could very well change the face of the main event of “The Show of Shows” as WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton would defend the prestigious championship against the man he defeated in a TLC Match last month to unify the WWE and World Heavyweight Titles in the first place, John Cena, in a classic championship match.

Upon his return to the WWE a few weeks ago, “The Beast” Brock Lesnar named himself the #1 Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, letting the world know his intentions of taking his spot atop the WWE. However, “The World’s Largest Athlete” would take issue with a man that he simply does not like as Big Show stood up to the relentless beast and has repeatedly embarrassed Brock Lesnar by overpowering the monster and, at the Royal Rumble, these two unstoppable forces will collide as Big Show will go one-on-one with Brock Lesnar.

After a short stint with The Wyatt Family, Daniel Bryan revealed that his time under the rule of Bray Wyatt was all an elaborate plan to get Bray alone in the ring and, after a Steel Cage Match a couple of weeks ago, Bryan got that chance and, at the Royal Rumble, with Bray’s “brothers”, Luke Harper & Erick Rowan in the Royal Rumble Match, Daniel Bryan will aim to defeat the patriarch of The Wyatt Family when Bryan goes one-on-one with Bray Wyatt.
