In the Last Man Standing Match, the only way to win is by beating your opponent to the point that they cannot get to their feet before the referee reaches his ten-count. There will be no pinfalls, no submissions, no disqualifications, and no count-outs.

In the “I Quit” Match, the only way to win is to force your opponent to say the words “I Quit” into a microphone held by the referee. There will be no pinfalls, no submissions, no disqualifications, and no count-outs. The winner of the match will be named the new #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.

In the Strap Match, both men will be tied to each other at the wrist using a leather strap. The only way to win is by dragging your opponent and touching all four corners in succession. There will be no pinfalls, no submissions, no disqualifications, and no count-outs.

In the Extreme Rules Match, you can win via pinfall or submission inside the ring. There will be no disqualifications and no count-outs.

In the Tornado Tag Match, all four competitors will be allowed to be legal in the ring at the same time with any member of one team being allowed to defeat any member of the opposing team. The match can end by pinfall, submission, disqualification, or count-out.

The Extreme Rules Pre-Show will air exclusively on WWE.com, Facebook, & YouTube starting at 7:30/6:30c.
