As reported after The Bella Twins returned to the WWE on RAW a couple of weeks ago, WWE is still negotiating with former WWE Divas to try and bring them back to the company and, according to PWInsider.com, there was originally a plan to have a big Divas match at WrestleMania where former Divas would face current Divas. The plan was to put Divas Champion Kaitlyn, Layla, and three other current Divas (likely Natalya, Aksana, & Tamina Snuka) against the team of The Bella Twins, Maryse, Maria, & Kelly Kelly in a 10-Diva Tag Match. However, contract negotiations have taken longer than expected and, as a result, the WrestleMania match idea has been nixed. One of the key reasons that the negotiations have taken so long is due to WWE ‘s negotiations with Barbie Blank over the “Kelly Kelly” ring name. Even though it may be slow-going, you can still expect to see a crop of former Divas returning to the WWE soon, though it probably won’t be until after WrestleMania.
