WWE Spoilers: Changes Made to Two Royal Rumble Title Matches

The 26th annual WWE Royal Rumble will come to you, live on pay-per-view, this Sunday night, January 27, from the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ. As revealed on RAW, changes have been made to the WWE and World Heavyweight Title matches at the Royal Rumble. Here is the updated and, likely, final card for the Royal Rumble:

  • 30-Man Royal Rumble Match
  • WWE Championship: The Shield Banned: CM Punk (c) vs. The Rock
  • World Heavyweight Championship: Last Man Standing: Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. Big Show
  • WWE Tag Team Championship: Team Hell No (c) vs. Team Rhodes Scholars
  • United States Championship: Pre-Show Exclusive: Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. The Miz

Confirmed Royal Rumble Match Participants: John Cena, Sheamus, Randy Orton, The Miz, Ryback, Kane, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Darren Young, Titus O’Neil, Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, Drew McIntyre, Wade Barrett, Antonio Cesaro, & Dolph Ziggler (must select to enter at either #1 or #2)

In the WWE Championship match, if The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns) interfere in the match, then CM Punk will be stripped of the WWE Title.

In the Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight Title, the first Superstar to successfully incapacitate their opponent for the referee’s count of ten will win the match and the World Heavyweight Title. There will be no pinfalls, no submissions, no disqualifications, and no count-outs.

What do you think of the updated Royal Rumble card? Post your comments in the box below.
