WWE Spoilers: WWE Title Match Announced for WWE TLC!

The fourth annual WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders, & Chairs will come to you, live on pay-per-view in three weeks on December 16 from the brand new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. As announced on RAW, CM Punk will defend the WWE Title at the event in a TLC Match. Plus, the Intercontinental Title will also be on the line. Here is the updated card:

  • WWE Championship: TLC Match: CM Punk (c) vs. Ryback
  • World Heavyweight Championship: Chairs Match: Big Show (c) vs. Sheamus
  • Intercontinental Championship: Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Wade Barrett

In a TLC Match, tables, ladders, and chairs are all legal and available to use. The only way to win a TLC Match is for one competitor to climb a ladder and retrieve the title belt hanging high above the ring. There are no pinfalls, submissions, count-outs or disqualifications.

In a Chairs Match, steel chairs are legal and are the only weapon available to use. The match can be won by either pinfall or submission with no count-outs and no disqualifications.
