The Wrestling-Online Newsletter and several other sources are confirming that second-generation wrestler/promoter Mike Graham (Mike Gossett) has passed away at the age of 61. Mike was the son of the legendary Hall of Famer Eddie Graham, whom he posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2008. Mike worked as both an agent and a wrestler in WCW for more than a decade before working for the WWE, most notably taking part in roundtable discussions on the WWE Classics’ Legends of Wrestling series and has also appeared on several WWE DVD releases.
Mike Graham was found dead by his wife in their home in Daytona Beach, FL with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head and his death is being ruled a suicide. WWE issued a statement on Graham’s passing, “WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of Mike Graham, 61, son of legendary promoter Eddie Graham. While never under contract with WWE, he was part of our extended family. The sports-entertainment lost a beloved member today. WWE extends its sincerest condolences to his family and friends.”
