WWE: The Latest on Randy Orton’s Future

While Randy Orton has made it abundantly clear on Twitter and in interviews that he really wants to be turned heel, believing that he can be the top heel on SmackDown, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the WWE is afraid to make Orton the top SmackDown heel because they are not fully behind Sheamus as the top SmackDown face. The reason behind this is because they are afraid that Orton, as the heel, will get a more positive reaction than Sheamus, the face. WWE is still trying their best to get Sheamus over as a face, but anyone who has paid close attention over recent weeks will notice that, while Sheamus gets some decent reactions, they are nothing compared to the reactions that some of Sheamus’ opponents get. Heels like CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler have been cheered over Sheamus in recent weeks.

Should Randy Orton be turned heel? Post your comments in the box below.
