Breaking WWE News: Kelly Kelly Released!

WWE.com has revealed that World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of RAW Diva Kelly Kelly (Barbie Blank) as of Friday, September 28, ending a six year run with the company. Kelly Kelly made her WWE debut as a part of the ECW brand on June 13, 2006, performing a striptease in a weekly segment known as “Kelly Kelly’s Expose” and, after being joined by Layla and Brooke Adams, formed the dance trio, “Extreme Expose”. Kelly Kelly would then be transitioned into being an in-ring competitor and, over the course of her career, Kelly Kelly would win the Divas Title once and was also a 2011 Slammy Award Winner for “Divalicious Moment of the Year”. During her time as a Diva, Kelly Kelly has appeared on several magazine covers, most notably Maxim magazine.

Kelly Kelly’s release has been expected by many people for a while now as the former Divas Champion has been getting more and more involved in outside projects, such as acting as she recently filmed an energy drink commercial. She was granted a leave of absence back in June before making a few appearances last month with her final appearance for the company being at SummerSlam on August 19.
