With his “Once in a Lifetime” Match against John Cena coming up this Sunday at WrestleMania, the Wrestling-Online Newsletter featured highlights from an interview with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson that was conducted by the Associated Press. AP asked The Rock is he will be facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXIX (29) in New Jersey next year, but Rock was clearly sworn to secrecy as Rock laughed off the question and saying, “I’m not saying a thing. I didn’t say anything.” It is interesting to note that Rock and Brock faced off for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam in 2002, which also emanated from New Jersey.
The Rock was also interviewed about his WrestleMania 28 opponent, John Cena, and while Rock admitted that Cena is no Stone Cold or Hulk Hogan, Cena is the top guy right now and is the guy he needs to face at WrestleMania. Rock also stated, “We’ve been griping like two little kids now for about a year. Now everybody wants to see us fight.”
Who do you think The Rock should face at WrestleMania 29? Post your comments in the box below.
