WWE.com currently has an article up chronicling the Intercontinental Championship reign of Cody Rhodes as the second-generation Superstar reaches a milestone today (February 28) as today is Rhodes’ 200th day as Intercontinental Champion, which puts him in the league of former champions like The Rock, Mr. Perfect, Pedro Morales, and, if Rhodes makes it to March with the title, he will surpass Shawn Michaels on the list of longest reigns. Rhodes has held the Intercontinental Title since August 12, 2011 when he defeated Ezekiel Jackson for the title on SmackDown. Since then, Rhodes has defended the title in a Battle Royal and unveiled the classic Intercontinental Title belt at WWE Hell in a Cell in October.
