    Wwe Cm Punk 2012

    The champs are here.

One night after a brutal and hellacious WWE TLC, the 970th edition of WWE Monday Night RAW was a RAW SuperShow and it came to you, live, from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA. One night after surviving tables, ladders, chairs, and even handcuffs to successfully retain the WWE Title in the first ever Triple Threat TLC Match against The Miz and Alberto Del Rio, who will be the next Superstar to step up and challenge WWE Champion and 2011 Superstar of the Year CM Punk? Also, after a Sledgehammer Ladder Match where Kevin Nash was absolutely maimed by Triple H with a sledgehammer to the point of Nash having to be wheeled out of the arena on a stretcher, what is the status of Kevin Nash and what is next for Triple H?

    Match Results

    • Randy Orton def. Wade Barrett by DQ following a thumb to the eye by Wade Barrett.
    • Non-Title: Alicia Fox def. Beth Phoenix by pin following the somersault leg drop.
    • Sheamus def. Jinder Mahal by pin following the High Cross.
    • Primo & Epico def. Jimmy & Jey Uso by Epico pinning Jimmy Uso following the Back Stabber.
    • Non-Title: Cody Rhodes def. Santino Marella by pin following the Alabama Slam.
    • 6-Man Tag: CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, & Zack Ryder def. The Miz, Alberto Del Rio, & Dolph Ziggler by Alberto Del Rio tapping out to the LeBell Lock by Daniel Bryan.

    Detailed Results

One night after surviving tables, ladders, chairs, and handcuffs in the Triple Threat TLC Match to retain the WWE Title at WWE TLC, the show kicks off with WWE Champion CM Punk. Punk says that, much to the chagrin of John Laurinaitis, and through bodies falling through tables all over the place, he managed to retain the WWE Title. Punk admits that he is beat up and sore before turning his attention to the United States Championship match as Punk calls the brand new United States Champion, Zack Ryder, to the ring. The new United States Champion then joins the WWE Champion in the ring as Punk states that there was a Chairs Match between two monsters for the World Heavyweight Championship, but while Big Show won the World Heavyweight Title from Mark Henry, it was Daniel Bryan who cashed in and ultimately walked out as the World Heavyweight Champion.

The new World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan, then joins WWE Champion CM Punk and new United States Champion Zack Ryder in the ring before Punk states that, if any city would appreciate the scene of three champions standing in the ring, then it would be a landmark city in the history of professional wrestling like Philadelphia. CM Punk continues that, who would have thought that, “two kids” who met ten years ago in the Murphy Rec Center down the street would become the WWE Champion and the World Heavyweight Champion. Punk then says that it is not about him, it is about Daniel Bryan and Zack Ryder because he has seen the both of them break their backs to get to where they are today.

Punk then hands the mic to new United States Champion Zack Ryder, who says he called his father and asked if he was really the United States Champion and his dad said, “woo, woo, woo, you know it.” The new World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan, then speaks, saying that no one ever expected him to even make it to the WWE, much less become the World Heavyweight Champion. Bryan continues that, despite people like Michael Cole never thinking he belonged, he is the World Heavyweight Champion.

The celebration is then interrupted by The Miz, who quietly stands on the stage, followed by former United States Champion Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio as the three men surround the ring, but are quickly fought off by the three champions in the ring. Miz, Ziggler, and, Del Rio then huddle, but the huddle is broken up by Zack Ryder, who dives over the top rope onto the three of them. However, Miz and Del Rio throw Ryder into the steel steps before CM Punk and Daniel Bryan chase Miz, Dolph, and Del Rio up to the stage. Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis then breaks up the fight and announces a huge 6-Man Tag Match as WWE Champion CM Punk will team with new World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and new United States Champion Zack Ryder to face The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, & Alberto Del Rio!

Just one night after putting Wade Barrett through a table with a mid-air RKO to win the Tables Match at WWE TLC, “The Viper” Randy Orton went one-on-one with his WWE TLC opponent, Wade Barrett, on RAW. In the end, just as Randy Orton was setting for the RKO, Wade Barrett resorted to using a thumb to the eye on Orton, but, unlike last month, the referee spotted the dirty tactic and calls for the disqualification. After the match, Wade Barrett continues his assault, ending it with a spinning side slam appropriately called the “Winds of Change”. However, Barrett was not through as Barrett gets a table out from under the ring, setting it up in the ring before Barrett hoists Orton up, delivering Wasteland to Orton through the table! How will Randy Orton respond to be putting through a table by Wade Barrett?

After being maimed and brutalized by Triple H in the Sledgehammer Ladder Match at WWE TLC, the status of Kevin Nash is revealed on RAW as Nash suffered “multiple contusions” on his body and also suffered a “nasal fracture” from getting hit in the face with the sledgehammer. With these injuries, Nash is expected to be out of action for at least six weeks.

One night after a successful defense of the Divas Title against Kelly Kelly at WWE TLC, Divas Champion Beth Phoenix went one-on-one with the Diva who embarrassed Natalya on SmackDown, Alicia Fox. In an impressive showing, Alicia Fox was able to hit the somersault leg drop on Beth Phoenix en route to pinning the Divas Champion for the win.

After defeating Jack Swagger at WWE TLC, Sheamus was in action on RAW as “The Great White” went one-on-one with the man he defeated on SmackDown, Jinder Mahal. In the end, it was Sheamus hitting the High Cross on Jinder Mahal en route to picking up the win.

After being chokeslammed by the returning and resurrected Kane on last week’s RAW, John Cena appeared on RAW to discuss the attack. Cena says that, apparently, there are people out there who do not like him. Cena continues that he can understand why The Rock does not like him, but he does not understand why Kane chokeslammed him last week. Cena then says that he likes to think that he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, but if he wasn’t, he is there to face his “fears”. Cena continues that, if last week was not an accident, then they have business to handle and they need to handle it right now. However, Cena does not get Kane, he gets the former World Heavyweight Champion, Mark Henry. Henry tells Cena that, if it was not for Kane, then Cena would be the “newest member in the Hall of Pain”. Henry continues that he is not out there for “jokes”, he is out there to address his injuries and why he lost at WWE TLC before telling Cena that he should get out of his face as he is the “only business” that Cena needs to worry about.

As John Cena and Mark Henry look to be ready to go to war, the flames erupt from the stage as “The Big Red Monster” Kane enters the arena. Kane comes out and circles the ring, coming face-to-face with Mark Henry. However, Kane then sets his sights on Cena as Kane enters the ring, but Cena strikes quickly, sending Kane over the top rope to the outside. On the outside, Kane fights back, hurling Cena over the announce table before pummeling Cena with right hands. Kane then takes his gloved hand, covering the face of Cena. Then, with Cena prone on the announce table, Kane rips Cena’s shirt off before leaving a dazed and confused Cena on the announce table. What is the reason behind this second attack by Kane?

After being unsuccessful in their attempt to take the WWE Tag Team Titles from Air Boom at WWE TLC, Primo & Epico, with Rosa Mendes in their corner, faced Jimmy & Jey Uso in tag team action. In the end, it was Epico hitting the Back Stabber on Jimmy Uso en route to picking up for himself and Primo.

One night after successfully retaining the Intercontinental against Booker T at WWE TLC, Cody Rhodes was in action on RAW as the Intercontinental Champion went one-on-one with Santino Marella in a non-title match. In the end, it was Cody Rhodes hitting the Alabama Slam on Santino Marella en route to picking up the win.

Backstage, an emotional Big Show says that he waited nine years to win a World Title, only to have Daniel Bryan cash in his Money-in-the-Bank contract and end Show’s reign in just 45 seconds. Show continues that he was “speechless” at WWE TLC, but admits that it was kind of his fault because he encouraged Bryan to cash in the contract on Mark Henry, but Bryan cashed in on him. Show then says that Bryan is living his dream. Josh Mathews tells Big Show that Show is a nice guy, but he is not that nice, adding that Show will go down in history as having the shortest reign as World Heavyweight Champion and a visibly upset Show leaves the interview at that.

I cannot help you anymore. Do you understand?

Then it was time for the main event as WWE Champion CM Punk teams with new World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and new United States Champion Zack Ryder to face the team of The Miz, Alberto Del Rio, and former United States Champion Dolph Ziggler, with Vickie Guerrero in their corner, in a 6-Man Tag Match. In the end, it was Daniel Bryan locking in the LeBell Lock on Alberto Del Rio, forcing Del Rio to tap out to pick up the win for his team of champions.

Once the matches get going you dont mind paying the money to watch. What I and hundreds of other viewers are now contemplating pulling out because some shows the wrestlers just want to talk talk talk. We sit here wringing our hands. We pay to watch wrestling ! these americans have a strange sense of humour.
