WWE: Update on the Status of The Great Khali

Despite rumors that SmackDown Superstar The Great Khali’s contract has expired with the WWE, the truth is that Khali is still a contracted WWE Superstar, though it is not known exactly when Khali’s contract does expire or if the WWE will renew it.

In a recent interview, Khali stated that, while he is looking to more television and films in India (even making the move to being a film and television producer), he is happy to have a “secure” job with the WWE and hopes to keep an “altered” WWE schedule so that he can have time for his acting career.

Khali was written off of television via an injury angle on the September 30 episode of SmackDown where he suffered a “fractured fibula” in an attack by Mark Henry.

What do you think of The Great Khali’s WWE future? Post your comments in the box below.
