WWE: Main Event Star Pulled from Live Events

After suffering a groin injury during Monday’s RAW, WWE has pulled former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio from this Monday night’s RAW in Chicago, as well as several of WWE’s live events for the last week of the year. Del Rio was originally advertised to take part in a Triple Threat WWE Title Match with champion CM Punk and The Miz, but the matches have been changed to only include Punk and Miz. The severity of Del Rio’s groin injury is unknown, but WWE is pulling Del Rio from the tour as a precaution, though Del Rio is not expected to miss any significant ring time.
