WWE Monday Night RAW June 6, 2011 Results

    By Cassidy
    | June 6, 2011
    WWE Raw

The 941st edition of WWE Monday Night RAW came to you, live, from the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, VA. One week after dousing a John Cena fan with the fan’s own beverage in front of his own son, the deranged and unstable R-Truth would appear on RAW as, per the orders of the anonymous General Manager of RAW, R-Truth must apologize for his actions last week or be denied his match against John Cena for the WWE Title at Capitol Punishment!

    Match Results

    • Santino Marella (with Vladimir Kozlov) def. Michael McGillicutty (with David Otunga) by pin following the Cobra Strike.
    • Kelly Kelly & Beth Phoenix def. The Bella Twins by Beth Phoenix pinning Bella with the Glam Slam.
    • Rey Mysterio def. CM Punk (with Mason Ryan) by pin following the Bullet Splash.
    • Non-Title: Kofi Kingston def. Zack Ryder by pin following Trouble In Paradise.
    • Booker T def. Jack Swagger by intentional count-out.
    • Special Referee- Stone Cold Steve Austin: R-Truth & The Miz def. John Cena & Alex Riley (with Stone Cold Steve Austin) by DQ after the anonymous RAW General Manager reversed the decision of Special Referee Stone Cold Steve Austin.

    Detailed Results

Moments after the live Finale of WWE Tough Enough that saw Tough Enough Host and WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin named the winner of Tough Enough as big Andy Leavine before Andy was slapped hard across the face by WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon and hit with the Stunner by Stone Cold Steve Austin, RAW would kick off with the unbalanced R-Truth marching out in a Confederate soldier outfit, joining Stone Cold and Mr. McMahon in the ring! As demanded by the anonymous General Manager of RAW and with his WWE Title shot at Capitol Punishment on the line, R-Truth would then mockingly apologize to “big Jimmy and little Jimmy” for his actions last week, as well as apologizing for spilling the soda! Truth then proclaims that he is “seceding” from the WWE just like the Confederacy did some 150 years ago! Truth continues that he is the “victim” of a “company-wide conspiracy”, which Mr. McMahon responds to by telling R-Truth that Truth can do what Stone Cold Steve Austin has been made to do many times by visiting the office of Mr. McMahon!

The former WWE Champion, The Miz, then interrupts and states that, had it not been for his former protégé, Alex Riley, he would still be the WWE Champion and he deserves another title shot! This brings out Alex Riley, who tells Miz that what Miz “deserves” is a third beat down! WWE Champion John Cena then joins everyone in the ring as Cena states that Mr. McMahon is “out of patience”, The Miz is “out of excuses”, Alex Riley is “out for vengeance”, Stone Cold Steve Austin is “almost out of beer”, and R-Truth is “out of his mind”! Cena then gets to the “facts” by saying that he made The Miz scream “I Quit”, so The Miz will not get another title shot and Miz should stop being a “jack wagon” before saying that he does not “like” Alex Riley, but he’s glad to see that Riley has a “set” by attacking The Miz the last couple of weeks! Cena then tells R-Truth that Truth has got his one-on-one shot at the WWE Title, so Truth should take off the Confederacy outfit! The anonymous General Manager of RAW then chimes in with an email, but when Michael Cole gets up to get ready to read the email, Mr. McMahon tells Cole to “shut up” before handling the announcement himself as the WWE Chairman announces that the main event of RAW will see the new #1 Contender for the WWE Title, R-Truth, team with the former WWE Champion, The Miz, to face Alex Riley and WWE Champion John Cena with Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin as the Special Referee! What kind of chaos can be expected when WWE Champion John Cena teams with Alex Riley to face his Capitol Punishment opponent, R-Truth, and The Miz with Stone Cold Steve Austin as the Special Referee?

With his New Nexus teammate and fellow WWE Tag Team Champion, David Otunga, in his corner, one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions Michael McGillicutty would go one-on-one with Santino Marella, with Vladimir Kozlov in his corner! In the end, it was Vladimir Kozlov taking David Otunga down on the outside that would allow Santino Marella to hit the Cobra Strike on Michael McGillicutty en route to picking up a big win!

One week after mocking and attempting to embarrass Kharma moments after Kharma made the shocking announcement that she is pregnant and will be gone from the WWE for a year, Divas Champion Brie Bella would team with her twin sister, Nikki Bella, to face the team of Kelly Kelly & Beth Phoenix! In the end, it was Beth Phoenix planting one of The Bella Twins with the Glam Slam, pinning the Bella to pick up the win for herself and Kelly Kelly!

Backstage, WWE Tough Enough Trainer Booker T is teaching fellow Trainer, Trish Stratus, the “Trish-a-rooni” when they are interrupted by “The All-American American” Jack Swagger interrupts and challenges Booker T to a match, which the WWE Legend wastes no time in accepting! What will happen when SmackDown Commentator Booker T competes in a rare match against Jack Swagger?

One week after utilizing the powerhouse of The New Nexus, Mason Ryan, to defeat Rey Mysterio New Nexus leader CM Punk, with Mason Ryan in his corner once again, would go one-on-one with “The Ultimate Underdog” Rey Mysterio in a rematch from last week! In the end, it was Rey Mysterio knocking Mason Ryan off of the ring apron before hitting a splash on CM Punk en route to picking up the win!

Two weeks after his personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez, was responsible for running over the knee of Big Show in a 2011 Ferrari Spider, “The Mexican Aristocrat” Alberto Del Rio would appear on RAW and claim again that what happened two weeks ago was an “accident” before calling Big Show out to the ring, which brings out Ricardo Rodriguez, who is dressed as a Big Show imposter, complete with crutches, padding, a sandwich, and a catcher’s mitt for a hand! Alberto Del Rio would then ask the faux Big Show that, if he gave him food, would Big Show drop any charges and the faux Show roars his approval, but Del Rio refuses before telling the faux Show to “never disrespect” him again! As Ricardo Rodriguez takes off his disguise, Alberto Del Rio addresses the real Big Show by telling Show not to make him his “enemy” because it will result in Big Show getting “hurt” before saying that it is a “promise” and that “bad things happen to bad people”! What will happen when Big Show actually does return to the WWE to confront Alberto Del Rio?

One week after picking up a non-title victory over United States Champion Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler would be a guest on commentary with his “associate”, Vickie Guerrero, as Kofi Kingston would go one-on-one with “The Long Island Iced Z” Zack Ryder in a non-title match! In the end, it was Kofi Kingston hitting Trouble In Paradise on Zack Ryder en route to picking up the win!

One week after losing to Evan Bourne in a big upset, “The All-American American” Jack Swagger would go one-on-one with a WWE Legend in six-time World Champion Booker T! In the middle of the match, Jack Swagger would decide to exit the ring, shouting that he does not “need” this as Swagger would allow himself to be intentionally counted out! After the match, Evan Bourne would rush out and lure Jack Swagger back into the ring where Booker T would hit the legendary Scissors Kick on Swagger, which would leave Swagger prone for Air Bourne by Evan Bourne before Booker and Bourne would take part in a double Spin-a-rooni! How will Jack Swagger respond to being embarrassed by Evan Bourne three weeks in a row?

Then it was time for the huge main event as, just two weeks before WWE Capitol Punishment, WWE Champion John Cena would reluctantly team with Alex Riley to face their respective Capitol Punishment opponents, R-Truth & The Miz, with WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin as the Special Referee! During the match, R-Truth would enter the ring with a steel chair, but would be met with a dropkick by John Cena, sending the chair back into the face of Truth! This would be followed up with Alex Riley entering the ring with his signature briefcase and blasting The Miz with it, followed by the Special Referee, Stone Cold Steve Austin, hitting Miz with the Stone Cold Stunner! Finally, John Cena would plant The Miz with the Attitude Adjustment to pick up the win for himself and Alex Riley! After the match, Stone Cold Steve Austin would raise the hands of the victors, John Cena & Alex Riley before sharing a Stone Cold Toast with the winners as Alex Riley makes his exit from the ring!

With Stone Cold Steve Austin and WWE Champion John Cena celebrating in the ring, the anonymous General Manager of RAW chimes in with an email that states that, due to “blatantly” overstepping his boundaries as the Special Referee, the GM is ruling that R-Truth & The Miz are the winners of the main event via disqualification! With Stone Cold looking ready for a fight, the GM chimes in with a second email that reveals that next week’s 3-hour WWE All-Star Night edition of RAW, he is naming Stone Cold Steve Austin the official Special Guest General Manager for the three-hour extravaganza! The Hall of Famer’s business would not be done, however, as Stone Cold Steve Austin would head to the outside of the ring and knock the GM’s laptop and stand down before grabbing Michael Cole and delivering a right hand to the cocky commentator before throwing Cole into the ring and delivering the Stone Cold Stunner to Cole, followed by the Attitude Adjustment by John Cena! With Cole laid out in the middle of the ring, Stone Cold would tell Cole that he looks forward to seeing Cole “first hand” on next week’s 3-Hour WWE All-Star Night RAW! What will happen next week when both RAW and SmackDown converge under one roof for the three-hour WWE All-Star Night RAW with Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin in complete charge of the show as the Special Guest General Manager?
