3-Hour WWE All-Star Night RAW Results

    By Cassidy
    | June 13, 2011
    WWE Raw

Just six nights before WWE Capitol Punishment, the 942nd edition of WWE Monday Night RAW would be a three-hour WWE All-Star Night extravaganza, which would come to you, live, from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, NY. On a night where Superstars from both RAW and SmackDown would convene under one roof, one of the greatest Superstars in WWE history would be in charge of the three-hour special as WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin would take over as the Special Guest General Manager, ensuring an unpredictable, one-of-a-kind edition of RAW!

    Match Results

    • Kane def. Alberto Del Rio by DQ after Alberto Del Rio refuses to break the cross armbreaker.
    • 6-Man Tag: Ezekiel Jackson, Sin Cara, & Daniel Bryan def. Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes, & Ted DiBiase by Sin Cara pinning Wade Barrett with a springboard cross body.
    • Sheamus def. Santino Marella by submission to the Celtic Cloverleaf.
    • Rey Mysterio def. Christian by DQ after Christian refused to stop choking Rey Mysterio on the second rope.
    • Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne def. Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger by Evan Bourne pinning Jack Swagger following Air Bourne.
    • $5,000 Challenge: Special Referee- Alex Riley: “Rowdy” Roddy Piper (with Alex Riley) def. The Miz by roll-up to win $5,000.
    • 7-on-7 Divas Tag Match: Kelly Kelly, Beth Phoenix, Eve, Natalya, Gail Kim, A.J., & Kaitlyn def. The Bella Twins, Tamina, Rosa Mendes, Alicia Fox, Melina, & Maryse by Kelly Kelly pinning Rosa Mendes following the K2.
    • Non-Title: The New Nexus Banned: CM Punk (with R-Truth) def. John Cena by pin following the GTS.

    Detailed Results

Six nights before squaring off with his former protégé, Alex Riley, at Capitol Punishment, WWE All-Star Night kicks off with former WWE Champion, The Miz as Miz proclaims himself as the “all-time WWE All-Star”. Miz then addresses Alex Riley as Miz vows to “expose” Alex Riley this Sunday as he will teach Riley a “lesson” by calling out Stone Cold Steve Austin. Miz continues that the Hall of Famer owes him an “apology”, but before Miz can continue, he is interrupted by the Special Guest General Manager for the evening as Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin makes his entrance into the arena. Stone Cold then gets in the face of The Miz and asks Miz if that’s the “best” that Miz has got before Austin calls Miz a “silver-tongued devil” before telling Miz to keep his “lips shut” while his are “moving”. The Special Guest General Manager continues that he is there to run the show, but he’s got an “itchy trigger finger” and he will pull out a Stone Cold Stunner if need be. Stone Cold continues that Alex Riley has shown him that he’s got “guts” and states that he is “not going to blow smoke”, but Riley may be a “bigger star” than The Miz. Miz then starts to speak, but Austin would grab Miz by the tie before making the blockbuster announcement that, as the Guest GM, he is going to set up a face-off between The Miz and Alex Riley and the face-off will take place in the legendary Piper’s Pit with WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper!

Stone Cold Steve Austin then advises that The Miz leave the ring and Miz reluctantly makes his exit, but the Guest General Manager is quickly interrupted by the arrival of “The Mexican Aristocrat” Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio states that he wanted to make it “official” that Austin is “passing the torch” to him as the “greatest WWE Superstar of all time” before saying that the Hall of Famer wanted to see “true greatness” up close. Austin interrupts Del Rio and states that he does not have a “crystal ball”, but he sees an “ass whooping” in Del Rio’s future before informing Alberto Del Rio that “The Mexican Aristocrat” will compete in the opening match against the tag team partner of the man that Del Rio’s personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez, ran over with a car three weeks ago, Big Show, as Alberto Del Rio would go one-on-one with “The Big Red Machine” Kane.

Per the orders of the Special Guest General Manager, Stone Cold Steve Austin, the opening match of the night would see “The Mexican Aristocrat” Alberto Del Rio go one-on-one with “The Big Red Machine” Kane. In the end, it was Alberto Del Rio locking in the cross armbreaker on Kane, but Kane would get to the ropes. However, Del Rio would refuse to break the hold, resulting in a disqualification win for Kane. Even after the match came to an end, Alberto Del Rio would still refuse to break the cross armbreaker on Kane, but Del Rio would release the hold once the music of Big Show hits! “The World’s Largest Athlete” would then make a beeline for the ring, but Del Rio would narrowly escape the ring, leading to Big Show pounding the hell out of Del Rio’s personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez. Big Show would continue to wail away at Rodriguez until Kane was forced to lock a sleeper hold on Big Show to weaken Show enough to get him to stop. Guest General Manager Stone Cold Steve Austin would then come out and advise Alberto Del Rio to run all the way to Washington, D.C. as, this Sunday at Capitol Punishment, Del Rio will go one-on-one with Big Show! What will Big Show do when he finally gets his hands on Alberto Del Rio this Sunday night at Capitol Punishment?

The 3-Hour WWE All-Star Night would feature a big 6-Man Tag match as “The Personification of Domination” Ezekiel Jackson would team with “The International Sensation” Sin Cara & “The American Dragon” Daniel Bryan to face the team of Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes, & Ted DiBiase. After dominating all three Superstars on the other team, Ezekiel Jackson would tag in Sin Cara as “The International Sensation” would hit a springboard cross body on Wade Barrett en route to pinning the Intercontinental Champion to pick up the win for his team. Now that The Corre is no more, can Wade Barrett retain his Intercontinental Title against Ezekiel Jackson this Sunday night at Capitol Punishment?

In a rare RAW appearance, Hornswoggle appeared on RAW to shoot shirts into the crowd before the #1 Contender for the WWE Title, R-Truth, comes out and states that John Cena is not going to “stop” him from getting what he “wants” this Sunday and neither is Hornswoggle. Hornswoggle would then shoot Truth with the t-shirt cannon and R-Truth would initially hug the little guy before the unbalanced #1 Contender would deliver a kick to the face of Hornswoggle. The Guest GM, Stone Cold Steve Austin, then appears on the Tron and tells R-Truth that he should pick on someone his “own size” before announcing that Truth will go one-on-one with the man he injured several weeks ago in John Morrison. R-Truth would then deliver a second kick to Hornswoggle before exiting the ring as Jerry “The King” Lawler tends to Hornswoggle. What will happen when John Morrison gets his shot at revenge against R-Truth?

A rivalry would then be renewed on RAW as, three nights after a shot with the World Heavyweight Title belt by Christian would allow him to pin World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton in a No DQ Match, “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus would go one-on-one with former WWE Tag Team Champion, Santino Marella. Santino would hold his own against the former WWE Champion, even hitting the Cobra Strike on Sheamus, but Sheamus would kick out, hitting the Brogue Kick on Santino before locking in a Texas Cloverleaf on Santino, forcing Marella to tap out to pick up the win.

Three nights after being laid out with his own World Heavyweight Title belt by Christian for the second week in a row, World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton would appear on RAW just six nights before his title defense against Christian at Capitol Punishment. Randy Orton states that it is “damn good” to be back on RAW before saying that he should be “satisfied” since he’s the World Heavyweight Champion and gets to dole out punishment to Christian this Sunday. Orton says that he is not satisfied because he knows that Christian is in the arena and states that all he wants to do is “talk”. After Christian does not show, Orton admits that he “lied” because he will “hurt” Christian the first chance he gets before threatening to go back there and find Christian himself.

Christian would appear on the Tron and state that Randy Orton’s entire career has been “handed” to him while he has had to do “hard work” to make it in the WWE before polling the audience on whether or not he should come to the ring. After hearing the fans’ response, Christian would tell them that they are “mistaking” him for someone who “cares” and Orton tells Christian that it is too bad that Edge is retired because, if he wasn’t, then Edge could “carry” Christian to the ring just like Edge “carried” Christian for seventeen years. This would lead to Christian coming out, but Christian would stop at the entrance ramp before beginning to back up the ramp as security would hold Randy Orton back.

The anonymous General Manager of RAW then chimes in with an email that reads that, even though Stone Cold Steve Austin is in charge as the Guest GM, he is going to step in and make the call. The anonymous GM continues that Randy Orton does have a “concussion” and, while Orton will be cleared to compete this Sunday, he will not compete on RAW and, if Orton defies the anonymous GM, then Orton will be stripped of the World Heavyweight Title. Faced with these consequences, Randy Orton would have no choice but to walk away from the fight, but Stone Cold Steve Austin would appear on the Tron and would announce that, while Randy Orton cannot compete on RAW, Christian can and will compete against “The Master of the 619” Rey Mysterio!

It was announced during RAW that, after trading victories over the last couple of weeks, the rubber match would take place this Sunday at Capitol Punishment as “The Master of the 619” Rey Mysterio will go one-on-one with the leader of The New Nexus, CM Punk.

By order of the Special Guest General Manager, Stone Cold Steve Austin, the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Title, Christian, would go one-on-one with “The Master of the 619” Rey Mysterio. During the match, Christian would choke Rey Mysterio on the second rope, but would ignore the referee’s five-count, leading to Christian getting disqualified. Christian would then look to take out his frustrations on Rey Mysterio after the match, but Rey Mysterio would fight off Christian before spotting CM Punk on the outside of the ring as Rey would hit a cross body on Punk. The New Nexus would then come out to tend to their leader as Rey would turn his attention back to Christian, trying for the 619 on Christian only for Mason Ryan to rip Rey Mysterio out of the ring. Ryan would then ram the spine of Mysterio into the steel ring post, followed by a backbreaker, before throwing Rey back into the ring to Christian. Christian would then pick up the beaten down Mysterio and deliver the Killswitch to Rey. What fate awaits Christian this Sunday at Capitol Punishment when he challenges Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Title?

Backstage, Dolph Ziggler & Vickie Guerrero confront Special Guest General Manager Stone Cold Steve Austin as Vickie would ask for Dolph to get a shot at the United States Title at Capitol Punishment. Stone Cold would grant the match, but only if Dolph agrees to drop Vickie Guerrero as his associate, which, after some deliberation, Dolph would agree. This would anger Vickie, but Austin would reveal that he was joking with Dolph because he already made the match earlier.

After an attack by R-Truth left him in need of surgery a month, “The Guru of Greatness” John Morrison would return to action against R-Truth on RAW. However, R-Truth would come out, but John Morrison did not show up for the match as Truth shouts at Morrison to “fight” him, but with Morrison still not coming out, Truth would head backstage to find Morrison. Continuing to talk while he searches for John Morrison, R-Truth would find John Morrison down in the backstage, holding his injured neck after an apparent attack. Truth would then proclaim that Morrison can say that was “got” by the future WWE Champion before the unbalanced R-Truth would ram an anvil case into the face of John Morrison! What is the status of John Morrison following this heinous attack by R-Truth?

Six nights before defending the United States Title against Dolph Ziggler at Capitol Punishment, United States Champion Kofi Kingston would team with Evan Bourne to take on the team of Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger. In the end, it was Kofi Kingston hitting Jack Swagger with Trouble In Paradise from the ring apron, which would allow Evan Bourne to hit Air Bourne on Jack Swagger en route to picking up the win for himself and Kofi Kingston.

Six nights before they go one-on-one at Capitol Punishment, The Miz and Alex Riley would be in the same ring at the same time as the former mentor and former protégé would stand before Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper in the return of Piper’s Pit! Before bringing out The Miz and Alex Riley, Roddy Piper proclaims that he is going to “commemorate” a memorable moment when he “dropped” Mr. T in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania 2. However, Piper’s fond remembrance would be interrupted by The Miz as Miz states that his “favorite moment” will be in four years when they “tear down” the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum and “replace it with nothing”. Miz continues that people often to refer to him as the “next Roddy Piper”, but Piper says that there will “never” be another Roddy Piper, calling Miz a “wannabe”. Piper then brings out Miz’s Capitol Punishment opponent, Alex Riley, to join Piper’s Pit as Piper shakes hands with Riley. Alex Riley states that The Miz was his mentor, but Miz was “using” him to try and remain the WWE Champion, but would realize that, instead of helping Miz, he could “beat” The Miz. Miz respond by saying that he “fired” Riley before Roddy Piper proclaims that Riley is going to “change the questions” this Sunday at Capitol Punishment and that it will be “awesome”.

Miz then asks Piper how much “money” he wants to “bet” that he will “destroy” Riley this Sunday, but Riley steps in and asks how much they want to “bet” that Piper can beat The Miz right now. Miz would then bet $1,000 and Piper would say that he is getting tired of getting beaten up, so he will have to ask for $5,000. This would prompt Guest General Manager Stone Cold Steve Austin to appear on the Tron and make the match official as The Miz will go one-on-one with Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper with $5,000 on the line. Not only that, but Alex Riley will be the Special Referee for the match!

Per the orders of Guest General Manager Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Miz would go one-on-one with Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper with $5,000 on the line and with Alex Riley officiating the match as the Special Referee. During the match, The Miz would take exception to Alex Riley pulling Miz off of Roddy Piper in the corner as Miz would deliver a right hand to Riley, but Riley would battle back, allowing Roddy Piper to catch Miz with a roll-up to pick up the upset win and $5,000! After the match, Alex Riley would send The Miz packing from the ring as Roddy Piper raises the hand of Alex Riley. Can the former protégé beat the former mentor this Sunday at Capitol Punishment when Alex Riley goes one-on-one with The Miz?

The three-hour WWE All-Star Night edition of RAW would also feature a supersized 7-on-7 Divas Tag Match as Kelly Kelly would team with Beth Phoenix, Eve, Natalya, Gail Kim, Kaitlyn, & A.J. to face Divas Champion Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Tamina, Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes, Melina, & Maryse. The match would quickly break down as all but two Divas would brawl on the outside of the ring as Kelly Kelly would hit the K2 on Rosa Mendes en route to picking up the win for her team. After the match, Eve would lead the victorious Divas in an old-school Broadway attraction, the Showgirls high kick routine.

The Special Guest General Manager Stone Cold Steve Austin would then ride out on his ATV to address the WWE fans, but before he could say what he came to the ring for, the anonymous General Manager of RAW interrupts to remind everyone that he will be back in charge next week. Stone Cold then makes his announcement as Austin reveals that next week’s RAW will be another three-hour special, but next week’s three-hour RAW will be controlled by the fans as the fans will make all the decisions next Monday night! The anonymous GM would then chime in again and Austin would threaten Michael Cole to stop making the chime go off, but after it went off for the third time, Austin would exit the ring and chase Michael Cole out of the arena. The anonymous General Manager would then repeat the chime, non-stop, and Stone Cold would rip the GM’s laptop off of the stand, knock the stand over. Austin would then lay the broken laptop down in the entranceway, proceeding to pour beer all over the laptop and running the laptop over with his ATV. Austin would then come back for some Steveweisers and to toss the bottom half of the laptop off the stage. After a Stone Cold RAW, what will happen next week on another three-hour edition of RAW where the WWE fans will be in charge of the decision-making?

Then it was time for the main event as, six nights before he defends the WWE Title against R-Truth at Capitol Punishment, WWE Champion John Cena would go one-on-one with the leader of The New Nexus, CM Punk, in a non-title match with The New Nexus banned from ringside. During the match, John Cena looked to be within moments of victory, but R-Truth would arrive through the crowd as Truth would confront a young fan, saying he will trade the fan a sip of water for the fan’s John Cena hat. However, Truth would take the hat from the young fan, distracting John Cena long enough for CM Punk to take advantage, hitting the GTS en route to picking up the win. After the match, R-Truth would enter the ring and blast Cena in the head with his water bottle before hitting the Shut Up on Cena. Truth would then head to the outside of the ring and grab the WWE Title belt before vowing to beat John Cena and become the WWE Champion this Sunday at Capitol Punishment. Will John Cena suffer a similar fate at Capitol Punishment with R-Truth standing over him with the WWE Title or will John Cena fulfill his promise to knock some sense into R-Truth?
