“Macho Man” Randy Savage Passes Away At The Age of 58

At 10AM (local time) this morning in Seminole, FL, wrestling legend “Macho Man” Randy Savage was involved in a fatal car accident. It is suspected that Savage (real name, Randy Poffo) suffered a heart attack while driving, which led to him losing control of the vehicle and colliding with a tree. Randy Savage was 58 years old. Savage’s wife was also in the vehicle, but suffered only minor injuries. In his legendary career in both WWE and WCW, “Macho Man” Randy Savage was a six-time World Champion, having won the WWE Title twice and the WCW World Heavyweight Title four times, as well as winning the WWE Intercontinental Title and being crowned the 1987 King of the Ring. Randy Savage would also become known as one of the most famous spokesmen for Slim Jim, as well as becoming an actor in such films as Bolt, Ready To Rumble, and Spider-Man. Savage would also guest star on television shows such as Family Guy, King of the Hill, Baywatch, Mad About You, Dexter’s Laboratory, and The Jeff Foxworthy Show.
