The 89th edition of WWE Superstars (and the final WWE Superstars of 2010) came to you from the Times Union Center in Albany, NY and from the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, NY. On the final WWE Superstars of 2010, the main event would see two of SmackDown’s powerhouses square off as “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters would go one-on-one with “The X Factor” Tyler Reks!
- Jimmy & Jey Uso def. Yoshi Tatsu & Darren Young by Uso pinning Yoshi Tatsu following the Superfly Splash.
- William Regal def. David Hart Smith by pin following the Regal Knee.
- Tyler Reks def. Chris Masters by pin following the Burning Hammer.
The show kicks off with tag team action as, in a rematch from last week’s WWE Superstars, the new team of Yoshi Tatsu & Darren Young would face the team who defeated them last week, Jimmy & Jey Uso! In the end, it was one of the Usos pulling Yoshi Tatsu off of the top rope and hitting the Superfly Splash en route to pinning Tatsu and picking up the win over Yoshi Tatsu & Darren Young for the second week in a row!
After picking up a big win over Zack Ryder on last week’s WWE Superstars, the second-generation Superstar, David Hart Smith, would go one-on-one with a veteran Superstar, William Regal! In the end, it was the veteran William Regal hitting the Regal Knee on David Hart Smith en route to picking up the win!
Then it was time for the main event as two SmackDown powerhouses would face off as “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters would go one-on-one with “The X Factor” Tyler Reks! At the end of a hard-fought match, it was Tyler Reks hitting the Burning Hammer on Chris Masters en route to picking up a big win! What awaits these two Superstars, as well as the rest of the WWE locker room, in 2011?
