    Extended Edition of WWE Tribute To The Troops 2010 Detailed Results

    In a special two-hour presentation, the extended version of the eighth annual WWE Tribute To The Troops which came to you from the largest military base in the world in Fort Hood, TX. On the special two-hour presentation, there would be more Superstars, more Divas, more celebrities, and more action all in support of the United States military!

    Match Results

    • 15-Man Battle Royal: Winner- Mark Henry
    • Big Show & Kofi Kingston def. Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger by Big Show pinning Jack Swagger following the chokeslam.
    • R-Truth (with Eve Torres) def. Ted DiBiase (with Maryse) by pin following the Corkscrew Axe Kick.
    • 8-Divas Santa’s Little Helpers Tag Match: Natalya, Kelly Kelly, & The Bella Twins def. LayCool, Melina, & Alicia Fox by Kelly Kelly pinning Michelle McCool following the K2.
    • Arm Wrestling Challenge: Kane and Major General Brimsley fight to a No Contest when Edge comes out.
    • 6-Man Tag: John Cena, Randy Orton, & Rey Mysterio def. Wade Barrett, The Miz (with Alex Riley), & Alberto Del Rio by John Cena pinning Alberto Del Rio following the Attitude Adjustment.

    Detailed Results

    The opening match of the night would be a 15-Man Battle Royal as the new #1 Contender for the WWE Title John Morrison, “The World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry, “Big Zeke” Ezekiel Jackson, “The Mexican Warrior” Chavo Guerrero, the 2010 King of the Ring Sheamus, United States Champion Daniel Bryan, “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters, “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, WWE Tag Team Champions Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov, and The Nexus; David Otunga, Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel, Husky Harris, & Michael McGillicutty would all be in action! The first elimination would see Sheamus eliminating Chris Masters, followed by Chavo Guerrero and “Dashing” Cody Rhodes working together to eliminate Ezekiel Jackson! After waiting for their opportunity to strike, The Nexus would hit the ring and would work together to eliminate both of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov! Nexus member Justin Gabriel would then eliminate Chavo Guerrero before Nexus member Husky Harris would eliminate his former mentor “Dashing” Cody Rhodes! Daniel Bryan would then help thin the Nexus numbers by eliminating Justin Gabriel only to be eliminated by Sheamus! The next elimination would see John Morrison eliminating Nexus member David Otunga followed by Michael McGillicutty eliminating John Morrison and Mark Henry eliminating Heath Slater, Michael McGillicutty, and Husky Harris to eliminate the rest of The Nexus before last eliminating Sheamus to win the 15-Man Battle Royal!

    Multi-time Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift also delivers a special message to the troops by thanking the troops for keeping America safe and free before wishing everyone a Happy Holidays!

    Diddy and his newest creation, Diddy Dirty Money, would then make an appearance to perform their tribute to the soldiers who have fallen in battle, in addition to Diddy’s friend, the late, great Notorious B.I.G., by performing the classic hit song, “I’ll Be Missing You”!

    The reigning “Miss USA” Rima Fakih then makes an appearance as the “Miss USA” pageant winner would serve as the special guest ring announcer “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show would team with Kofi Kingston to face Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler and “The All-American American” Jack Swagger! In the end, it was Big Show flattening Jack Swagger with the chokeslam en route to picking up the win!

    USA Olympic Gold Medalist Lindsey Vonn delivers a special message to the troops as Vonn thanks and salutes the troops for all they do for America before wishing the troops a happy holiday season!

    Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant also delivers a message to the troops as Bryant wishes the troops a happy holiday season and wishes the troops well!

    Country legend Trace Adkins would then make an appearance to perform his classic hit, “I Got My Game On”!

    With Eve Torres in his corner, R-Truth would be in action on Tribute To The Troops as Truth would go one-on-one with “The Fortunate Son” Ted DiBiase, with Maryse in his corner! In the end, it was R-Truth narrowly avoiding Dream Street to hit the corkscrew axe kick on Ted DiBiase en route to picking up the win!

    Then it was time for an 8-Diva Santa’s Little Helpers Tag Match as Divas Champion Natalya, Kelly Kelly, & The Bella Twins would face LayCool, Melina, & Alicia Fox! In the end, it was Kelly Kelly hitting the K2 on Michelle McCool en route to picking up the win!

    The cast of the hit NBC show, 30 Rock, also deliver a special message to the troops as Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Jack McBrayer, & Jane Krakowski deliver the holiday wishes to the troops!

    Emmy award winning co-host of The View, Sherri Shepherd, made a special appearance as Santa Sherri would join Hornswoggle in handing out WWE merchandise to the large crowd!

    The former President of the United States George W. Bush makes a special appearance as President Bush states that it was an honor to be the Commander-In-Chief for the troops for his eight year term as President before thanking the troops and asking for the blessing of the troops to have a happy holiday season!

    Then it was time for a special performance of the hit single, “Coming Home” from hip hop legend Diddy and his newest creation, Diddy Dirty Money! After the group’s performance, Diddy states that he realizes that he and other Americans do not show the appreciation that the troops deserve before thanking the troops for all they do to keep America safe!

    USA Olympic Gold Medalist Lindsey Vonn delivers a special message to the troops as Vonn thanks and salutes the troops for all they do for America before wishing the troops a happy holiday season!

    Then it was time for a special Arm Wrestling Challenge as Major General Brimsley of the Armed Forces would face off against former World Heavyweight Champion Kane, but the arrival of the new World Heavyweight Champion Edge would bring an end to the challenge would hit the ring and hit the Spear on Kane! After sending Kane packing, Edge would hold the arm of Major General Brimsley up high!

    Legendary actor and comedian Cedric The Entertainer made an appearance on the shoe as one of the original Kings of Comedy did his stand-up routine for the troops in attendance!

    The host of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”, Jimmy Fallon, would then deliver a special message to the troops and would tell a couple of cheesy jokes before WWE Champion The Miz would come out and deliver a scoop slam to the late night host!

    Legendary country singer Trace Adkins would then make a second special appearance on the show to perform one of his newest songs, “Whoop A Man’s Ass”!

    Then it was time for a blockbuster 6-Man Tag main event as John Cena would team with “The Viper” Randy Orton and “The Master of the 619” Rey Mysterio to face WWE Champion The Miz, with “apprentice” Alex Riley in his corner, Nexus leader Wade Barrett, and “The Essence of Excellence” Alberto Del Rio just one night before all six Superstars square off in their respective matches at WWE TLC! At the end of a chaotic match, it was Rey Mysterio hitting a double 619 on Wade Barrett and Alberto Del Rio before Randy Orton hits the RKO on Wade Barrett while John Cena hits the Attitude Adjustment on Alberto Del Rio en route to Cena pinning Del Rio to pick up the win for his team!
